By this time next year, what in your life do you want to be different?
In a word, everything.
It would be nice to have an income sufficient to pay the bills, necessary healthcare, and money to make needed car repairs while there's still a car to fix.
I'm not even a full paycheck away from living in one of America's tent cities that our American corporations imported in exchange for sending our jobs off to India and Indonesia. Politicians and bankers haven't done anything to improve that situation.
Hopefully, for the sake of millions, not just myself, people and government will come to their senses and start nation building right here at home.
I have a couple of things that I want to be different by this time next year:
1. I want to reduce the amount of hours I work, to enable me to spend more time with my family at home.
2. I want to publish more hubs and hopefully earn a small income from them.
3. I want to be more organised and manage my time more effectively.
At my age: seventy-five, I'd like a lot of things to be very much the same: excellent health and vigor (for my years) a comfortable if not lavish home, family, friends, and enough cash to buy a beer or a nice cuppa coffee.
Now, I'm vain enough to feel that I now have more to offer by way of the gifts I've developed over the years. I love to write, so I want at the at the end of next year to have even more readers. I love to tell stories orally so, at the end of next year, I like to be telling to even bigger groups overall. Over the past seventeen years I've spoken to around 38,000 people. By the time I say, "In the past eighteeen years," I'd like to be able to say I've addressed 50,000! Yes, and in some of my city's most prestigious venues.
"All is vanity," it is said somewhere (in the Bible, I think) So I guess none of this is really important. What is important is that we bring as much love to as many people we can in the time we live upon Mother Earth.
Have a great Christmas.
I'd love for my job to be different. Everything else can stay the same as long as that changes.
For me it would be to speak Portuguese better. I am learning every day but I still miss so much that is said.
Start to feel like our tilapia business, is making money without more capital investment.
To write more hubs that people will enjoy reading and to earn more money from them.
Have been working at a new job for 6 months. Starting my 4th year of college. Have more money saved up.
What an interesting question...most people make resolutions as the new year rolls around, but don't think about the long term. By this time next year, I hope to own a home (or at least rent a bigger place), figure out my stance on having children, and make more money writing. Now that you've asked this question, I will be thinking about it for the next few days! Thanks!
Be in Seychelles and having a lots of fun and obviously have a little e icon on my avatar in HubPages.
I want to finish my masters and keep building on my hubs on a daily basis.
Hi Evan! In 2012 I hope to be making a considerable passive income, on or off Hub pages, so I can pursue my writing for pleasure more. I hope you have a great holiday!
A steady online income
I've been learning to do Internet Marketing for at least a year now and so far have very little to show for it, but I can see how once i get all my ducks in a row how it'll be great...I just need to focus a bit.
Many things.
For one, I'm currently applying to colleges and universities, and I think I've found my dream one in NYC. However, the tuition and costs are pretty pricey, so I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to go there (I'm really worried that I might not be!) So I hope by then that I would be finishing up my first semester at that school. If not, at least finishing up the semester at community college.
I'd also by then like to have published a lot more Hubs, and be earning from them too.
Lastly, I'd like to have developed my craft business a bit more.
I want my books to be making enough money to support my family. I currently have two books self-published (with another almost complete and several others in process). I list them on my profile page.
I want my financial status to quadruple itself. I want to have an even better relationship with God. I want to understand Jesus even more. I want me and my wife to be twice as happy as we are now. I want my daughters to be healthier stronger and smarter than they are now. I also want them to stop fighting, but that's siblings for ya! LOL 1NELOVE

I thought I'd open a thread here for anyone who wants to share how well, or how bad, their sales and progress on making money on the web has been this year. For me, I've been working 100% off the web for around 4 years or so. I must say this year has been the best. In fact I've made more working off...
