   Are white people responsible for the way the Black Community is today?
   
   Recently, white people are to blame for being white....apparently any success they achieve is due to their whiteness, and that through no fault of their own, they have a certain advantage over people of color.  In addition, white people are born racist, no matter what.  What are your thoughts on this topic?

   Even though there are underpinnings of Caucasian hegemony in terms as to determining the quality of education, services, living conditions,& career ceilings,the lower socioeconomic class Black American community is the way it is because of the socio-pathology in terms of consciousness,mentalities,mindsets,outlooks, & philosophies.Many lower socioeconomic class Black Americans have a dependent,rescue me, & victimology mindset.They refuse to take responsibility & be accountable for their dire educational & socioeconomic conditions. 
   
   Many lower socioeconomic class Black Americans have an anti-achievement & anti-intellectual mindset.They are inculcated in the premises that to be educated, intellectual, & successful are to be act Caucasian.They contend that to be Black is to be street, uneducated, & ignorant.They believe in such a negatively pathological philosophy & imbue this horrific philosophy to their children. Many lower socioeconomic class Black Americans adopt a negative lifestyle & outlook i.e. marrying very young before they complete their education or not marry at all, having children; they also have children before they are financially, emotionally, & psychological prepared to take care of them; and lastly,they have MORE children than they can reasonably & logically take care off, thus continuing the cycle of poverty & want in yet another generation.
   
   Also many lower socioeconomic class Black Americans have a crab in the barrel mentality i.e. envious of Black Americans who leave the neighborhood as they become more educated & successful.The former look down upon the latter, viewing them as inauthentic Blacks instead of being happy for them & perhaps even gaining inspiration from them to do better themselves.
   
   Furthermore, being Black American isn't monolithic in scope.There are lower socioeconomic class Black Americans which I have aptly described. However, there are solidly middle, upper middle, & upper class Black Americans who don't fit into the dependent, rescue me, & victimology type.These Black Americans believe in being responsible & accountable regarding charting one's educational & career destiny.In fact,the more affluent echelon of Black Americans have a disdain for those Black Americans who insist on being in the dependent & victimology mode. There are also Black Caribbeans who demonstrate a strong work & success ethic. The Black Caribbean community in America seldom fall into this dependent & victimology mentality.

      Good answer.  I agree.  Unfortunately, any white person who makes this claim is going to be called a racist and told to "get educated."

      One can train a monkey to be what is "perceived" Caucasian, if exposed & not psychology deterred. I find what society "perceives" the "Black" mentality in ALL cultures!

      Thank you. You can't blame whites for black kids beating up other black kids for acting white when they sign up for honors classes, earn As or try to play chess.

   The Black Community today is the best that it has ever been The unilateral PC today has given the black community an artificial advantage never before attained by them.
   
   There are more black people on TV, Moves, and Commercials than befits their percentage in the population.
   
   White woman in these settings are falling all over black men as if it was a major trend.
   
   So the answer is that all of this sort of came from the whites on the far left and the attack by using the unilateral weapon of PC. Anyone that either speaks the truth or not about blacks will be called a Racist, and beat like a small child on a drum.
   
   So the black community should thank the whites of the far far left.

      Yes the solidly middle, upper middle, & upper class Black communities have it better today & in the best conditions but the lower, working, & lower middle Black communities are MORE WORSE OFF than ever.

   Thomas Sowell, a 70-something black economist, has great videos on this.
   Black family formation, employment rates, graduation rates were all higher in the 1950s when there was no affirmative action and blacks were actually systematically oppressed by Jim Crow laws.
   In comes welfare in the 1960s that says you can get money if you don't work and have illegitimate children. Illegitimacy for blacks has risen since then from 25% to 80%. That isn't the fault of whites - it is the fault of black leaders who said welfare was reparations for slavery, and then blamed whites for the degradation of black communities that come from the breakdown of the family.
   Regardless of race or economic class, a child from two unmarried parents has 2-3x the rate of becoming an addict, mentally ill, jailed, homeless, held back in school, drop out, being poor. The racial gap is because 30% of white kids are illegitimate versus 80% of blacks.
   But blaming whites is easier than trying to rebuild families and communities, and alleviates those responsible from having to really do anything about it.
