Cats have always been a part of her life until a few years ago when she lost her cat to kidney disease.

Be sure to get regular checkups at the vet.

And while you're there try to give a cat or dog a new home.

Stacie L lives in the Lake Cumberland region,which is located in the south central part of Kentucky,near the Tennessee border. The rolling hills,lakes and wildlife are a far cry from the suburban and urban environment she had to deal with for many years.

The area is mostly rural with horses,cattle,goats and the occasional coyote running behind her house.

Her previous life included teaching handicapped children and adults, a pet sitting service , a home tutoring service,and online retailer.
