   I am uncertain if it will change. Although this may anger atheists, agnostics etc. if God wants to influence us once again in some way perhaps He will... I imagine some or perhaps the majority will argue that with significant scientific discovery (as we have experienced in the last century) it is inevitable that our concept/perception of God must change. I do not believe there is indeed any significant positive or negative correlation between the "so called" advancement of "man" and any change in our God-concept. It could indeed be argued that we are getting further away rather than closer to God which could be dangerous...

   With Ego reaching a critical mass, there are only two possibilities:
   
   Homo sapiens will no longer exist or we will come to see God as pure, altruistic Love. This is what all of nature is based upon -- harmony without any self-concern. In the highest form, our selves -- as spirit -- will become one, which is the vector of Love.

   As humankind discovers more about brain functioning; gains a greater understanding of space and time; and has the ability to control life and death more dramatically, our concept of God will radically change.  If the movie "Interstellar," didn't illustrate that concept, we're simply blind. If Stephen Hawkin's understanding of the cosmos doesn't illustrate that, we're just not ready to see it.  Science has always changed perceptions of God.  The fact that it hasn't in the most recent 2000 years, doesn't mean that it hasn't in the past and doesn't mean it won't in the future.  It has to; that's what drives human kind on - the quest to understand the seemingly unfathomable - to figure out the puzzle of our existence.  To stop and say we now know is lazy and sad and unworthy of our intellect.

   I have to disagree with the answers given so far, although lone77star is partially correct, at least in my own humble (humble?) opinion.
   
   On the science front: slowly scientists are seeing more and more answers related to light and energy.
   
   Spiritually, as well as on the soul level, I feel that as a species we will continue to evolve over a long period of time towards enlightenment. We recently went into a new shift in energy and enlightenment, which started back in the 70s and 80s. That's just the beginning.
   
   I don't think that humans will cease to exist. We'll continue to be here for a very long time, as Earth is a central hub for spiritual growth before our souls move on to the next level.
   
   However, I do think that eventually we will reach out into the solar system, once we reach the next stage of enlightenment, which may come sooner than some think. Or later. It really depends on what happens, but I think in the next couple hundred of years, we as a species will begin to unlock the secrets of fast space travel, and begin to think about seriously inhabiting other worlds in perhaps 3 or 400 years from now.
   
   Oh, as for the God thing, religion will always have its place, but will evolve over time.

   The rise in the number of people who either claim Atheism, agnosticism or unaffiliated has grown tremendously in the past 10 year. According to a PEW Poll one fifth of the US considers itself in these categories. In the past 5 years alone there has been an increase of  5% in the unaffiliated. The major growth is in the 18 to 25 age group.
   I do not see any form of organized religion being practiced 200 years from now and even as an Atheist, I do not necessarily see this as a good thing.
   There is a going away from religious belief, in part due to the advancements of science. In part, due to the awakening of the futility of the gods and the ongoing attacks of religion by government. As there is a going away, the question  has to be asked, going away to what? In what authority figure does humanity now place its trust and loyalty.
   In 200 years can humanity evolve to the point of intellectual and emotional independence, as most Atheists now experience or is the trust and loyalty expressed in todays religions transferred to an omnipotent State. If this is the case, then what has been achieved? Are the gods of the supernatural replaced, as one might find in a totalitarian government with a secular deity?

   We will realise that this concept is both unnecessary and false. There is no such thing. Only ego driven people who need to claim to be superior will continue to make the claim that they have some revealed understanding that the rest of us are blind to. Eventually god-belief will wane and the conflicts it causes will die out. Education and understanding will prevail.
