    Hey there ChristineVianello,

I actually tapped into an interview to be a Mystery Shopper. But! It was a scam, requesting a payment in order to begin. What!? Uh, Uh!

I havent tried it. However, i was the victim of a mystery shopper. In our company, they use mystery shoppers to test your knowledge about the company's promos and products. Sadly, i said the wrong things to that effing mystery shopper and i got fired a week after. I knew it. it was a test. I can still remember the face of that mystery shopper. He's skinny  and looks like a bystander and you wont suspect. I thought he was just a random individual that comes to our store to use the washroom

I am so sorry you were adversely affected by a program that should have been put in place to improve service, not reprimand.  I believe that is why a lot of service employees have a negative stigma towards mystery shoppers.  We truly are your friends

I have, taking a little bit of a break now because of work and school.  If you are really serious about it you can make several hundred dollars per month, especially if you live in or near a major city.  You can start by checking out this site:  http://www.mysteryshop.org/.  You will not go wrong with this site as it provides a list of certified mystery shopping companies which means, you will not be scammed by joining any of these companies.

I have tried it and still going.  Not to be biased but a good place to start is the website I started to inform people on how to get started with mystery shopping and avoid scams.  There is so much to say about it.

    Have fun with it!

Yes, I've done mystery shopping about as long as I've done field inspection work.

I am a mystery shopper in the UK and LOVE it. I have stayed in a hotel over night with my partner with the room, all meals and drinks included and mystery shopped lots of restaurants. You need to do your research and make sure you the company is a member of the Mystery Shopper Providers Association. I'd recommend the following 2 companies :

http://uk.marketforce.com/register/?ref … eu=1110307  - international so top right change to your country's flag. Pays twice monthly by BACS.

http://www.viewsbank.com/referral/7779e71b - online paid surveys & mystery shopping. UK only pays monthly by Paypal.

    Hope this helps!
