The Babbler's Speech

Ladies and gentlemen of HubPages:

Lend me your ears!

The day of proclaiming the winners has come.It cannot be postponed.

With the unwritten consent given to me by HP management and staff, I will be your official 'babbler' as we feature the active and special hubbers in this online community.

I voted for the third time, writing names of my selected hubbers to be chosen among the busiest of hubbers in hub-land.

As you can see and read, most of their works are featured as Hub Of The Day (HOTD) or they're part of the Apprenticeship Program and Rising Stars winners.

Anyways, even if you can't hear me, I might as well share with you the important information from their profiles.

So, without much further ado, I'll help you get up close with each of them for autographs and speeches.

Note: babbler; plural noun: babblers

  1. a person who babbles
  2. Old World songbird with a long tail, short rounded wings, and typically a loud discordant or musical voice. (Source: Wikipedia)

Back in 2011...

When Hubbie Awards came to life, I felt giddy for the voting period.

I nominated most of my hubber-friends or those I came to know well during my first two years of active hubbing since 2009.

The video you will see is made by HP staff as they launched the additional project for all hubbers to know.

I am one of those who are inspired to strive more and get noticed by others who are well-known in this online writing community.

Fast-forward: Three years later, I'm one of the more supportive hubbers who will never miss voting for my favorite hubbers.

An eBook on WW1 by jimmythejock aka James Paterson

And who got the The HubPages Lifetime Award?

It's the first time the HP staff decided to include this newest category.

This is intended to hubber who persevere after seven years of existence of HubPages.

And they decided to give it to:

Hubber jimmythejock!!!

I thought, he's the James Paterson I know as the New York Best-selling author.
