Updated on February 3, 2011

Money and Traffic After 30 days Hub Challenge is here

One of  the greatest Achievement I have been dreaming of has been met. Two of my hubs have been featured on the Front Page of the Hubpages websites, Thanks to Hubpages and Hubbers.

These hubs are

How I earned $40 Adsense with 50 Hubs

The Top 4 Ways to Drive traffic to your Hubs and Earn More

The 30 days 30 hubs challenge has ended and I have noticed some progress in both earning and traffic that I would like to point out for those that are willing to put the hub challenge to test. Although am less with one hub but the increasing in both Traffic and Money is noticeable

Maybe you are new to the Hub Challenge and you are wondering what this hub challenge is and the money people are talking about. The Hub challenge is just writing 30 Hubs in 30 days, the simplest definition of hub challenge.

I started the 30 day hub Challenge with 91 hubs and after the challenge I have managed 120 hubs which mean I have managed to achieve my target of writing 29 hubs.

Traffic Progress

Before the Challenge my hub traffic hardly reached 200 Pages Views a day, but towards the end of the challenge.

I saw my Hub Pages Views rise to 250 and finally when the Challenge came to an end after 30 days my hub traffic have shoot to 500 Pages Views a day as shown below. I would said that I had 100% traffic increase and what makes this I hope is the quality and quantity of my Hubs.

One thing I noticed was that the more I write the more earlier hubs start getting traffic , so my observation is that the more quality hubs you write the more traffic you get. As Shown above is my traffic progress

Google Adsense Earning

Before the Challenge although my earning had improves due to some work I did in June and July where I managed to do about 40 hubs. During the previous months I was earning between $1 - $4, my major surprised came on Saturday 22nd/08/09 for the first time I earned $11 dollars in a day, and my August earning is at $25 approaching $30 dollars by the end of the month

Amazon Earning Updates

Ever since I got my affiliate at Amazon, I have never made any sell, so here am not doing well, the reasons may be am not keen on optimizing my hubs to make Amazon sell, eBay also has got the same fate as Amazon so I do not need to discuss that

Kontera

Kontera is just picking up and I have just made some $0.05 dollars from, there are some good signs that my Kontera affiliate is on the right direction and I may realized increasing in earning in few months to come

Now that you have seen my statistics here are some of Advantages and Disadvantages of the Hub Challenge

Benefits of the Hub Challenge

  • Traffic improvement
  • Google Earning Improvement
  • Is a learning tool to help you improve on your writing speed
  • Helps you read widely searching for topics to write about
  • You become a better communicator
  • Help you improve on your keyword research technique
  • Help you meet your goals and target
  • Your result keep on tickling slowly but steadily – both traffic and income

Challenges that may affect the completion of the 30 hubs

·         Needs your own internet connection

·         Need your own personal computer

·         Need more time to do more keyword research

·         Time consuming

·         Some time boring when you run out of words and ideas

·         You may spend sleepless night doing keyword research

·         Return on both profit and traffic is not immediate

·         You can easily give up if you do not have goals as to why you are writing

Now that am over with the second challenge, am considering giving myself another challenge after two weeks break. For now I would like to build bank links on the hubs I have written during these challenges
