According to Real-Time, I have 1 visitor at the moment.
My traffic is down as well. I wondered if it was because of the Super Bowl. Yet we get traffic from other countries.
Actually, lots of them watch, too. Pretty much everybody but China I think.
Sunday usually isn't that great a day to begin with. I'm surprised I'm getting any traffic at all.
Ask around you may be surprised why..
I hate football, I prefer to be playing a game than watching a game. But if you got food, I'm game..
I was at my brother's, eating BBQ burgers, his house has metal shielding in the roof that actually prevents cellphones from calling out, and he thinks if I have any access to his LAN, that I will screw something up, so I was watching youtube videos I downloaded to my iPad and watching the game intermittently while listening to a documentary on the FDA's treatment of alternative medicine.
Here is the documentary:
PS- I just got a call from a recruiter that was looking for a Java coder, and I just told her if you know C you can code in anything. She shy'd away "I'll keep you in mind for work that is more fitting to your preference".
Dumb *#$%! head hunters, No worries, my name on my account here is spelled wrong, they won't find this message. Of course they could always do a image search.. Just did, you won't find anything with this permutation of my avatar.
Yeah samee here might be because of the SuperBowl.
If anybody rants about their low traffic stats tomorrow, point them to this thread.
ParadIigmsearch - I owe you a beer! I've been trying to get to get in touch with an editor in Massachussets tonight, who put me through the mill for going to the racing one day and being unreachable. I didn't know your super bowl thing was on tonight but I now know why he's not answering his e-mails/phone. We're even!!! Cheers
Meh- the world was "away".
I rode my bike through town yesterday afternoon and the streets were empty... and smelled of BBQ sauce and chicken wings.
Eery, but not in a bad way. Chicken wings smell AWESOME.
My traffic is down, down, down. Hopefully it is just the Superbowl.
Off to eat some leftover chicken wings.
Hub traffic definitely on the rise. A day late, due to SB. But I submit that we are back in business.

Do you find that your hub traffic varies with the time of year and/or day of the week?My hubs are generally on finance topics and I think they get less traffic in the summer and at weekends! I guess people are too busy having fun.

I've noticed that there is at least one post claiming to have gained a significant amount of traffic this week, but for me, my traffic has dropped by 50%. One hub, which at its height was getting over 4k hits a day, is now down to 500 hits daily, and every other hub on my account has dropped...

I'm experiencing a traffic drop. I believe it is because of what this thread is talking about... http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/112459 When it comes to ranking, there are just too many whims of fate... And Happy Thursday! 4:30 AM, USA, West Coast.

And this includes all the referral traffic I've hopefully been sending HP via my illustrious main website. Oddly, my website is doing the best it's ever done.We all knew the summer thing was coming. But I am truly saddened anyway.I shall continue all my ongoing, industrious activities. Although...

The expectation and plan is for this to be a happy, fun thread. We shall see...Last year my seasonal traffic increase began the very first week of September, but Labor Day was September 1st. This year the starting line is September 7th.For those of us with non-summer-specific hubs, the weekly...
