I think there is need to do backlinking to increase the number of views. There seems to be a correlation between the number of views with earnings. I have not earned yet though. My Adsense is still awaiting approval.

I just reached payout after 22 months and 12 hubs! I also just write whatever I want and publish randomly in my spare time. Every single month my total earnings have increased. I have no doubt if a person puts in more effort they can make a lot more! (I have earned about $3000 online during those two years, but they were active work and I want to increase my passive income.) Keep at it lorlie6. Oh, here's a tip: Tying in Youtube videos to my articles have helped increase traffic and quality backlinks. Only do that if the hub and video are relevant to each other though.

Is this the norm for you? You signed up to earn? Are your ads on? Just curious. Don't mean to probe, sorry.

            Oh, thats okay.
Probably because i am only on Adsense with this account. Switched off HPads.
I seem to do much better with Adsense. My other account does have $0.52 earnings from HPads.

They may seem like that to you, but they are standard to Google.  All the info in them can be found ANYWHERE.  They do not offer anything truly unique that would make them stand out against the thousands of other webpages talking about the same thing.

It's not enough to be evergreen and informative and well-done anymore.  You have to be better than that.

With an author score of 93?  That seems so absurd.

Thats true;i think its because i turned off my HPads. Adsense earns me more, i have noticed.

I was up to $50 when adsense suddenly cancelled my account without explanation. I hear that has also happened to several others, so don't count on actually being paid.

They simply said there had been a violation, my account was closed, and all money earned was being confiscated. When I repeatedly asked why, they never answered.

That is what is scary about Adsence - if you get hit by envious denizens through bot attacks, Adsence immediately pulls the rug oft your feet before you can say, "Aye." It is hard to make an appeal, when that happens,  as experienced by many writers.

WillStarrposted 9 years agoin reply to this

I was told that adsense accounts are usually closed due to activity that has nothing to do with the account holder, but that adsense management is totally intolerant...unless you are making them lots of money.
