Everyone has someone in mind whom he/she wants to meet desperately. For some it will be long lost friend, while for some it may be a forgotten love. Some may want to meet someone to clear any misunderstanding while some may want to meet his/her biggest foe to settle an old account!

For me it is a very special person I would want to meet. She is very special to me and I respect her from the bottom of my heart but one fine day she just vanished and it is going to be three years now since we last communicated with each other. I don't know what happened but I really wish she is doing good wherever she is now. This is the one person I would like to meet before I die. What about you there??!!

A long lost friend who went off on a pretty bad path last I knew. Nobody has heard anything from her for a long time and I can't find her on any of those people-finder websites and search engines. Sigh. I didn't realize how much I still miss her. I hope she is okay.

lol to Dame Scribe! I remember at one point, I was going to marry Johnny Depp. Once I realized that he had some crazy attraction to successful beautiful model types, I decided that I should go for the more clean cut type. Jerry O'Connell, my 'good guy' hubby-to-be then proceeded to marry Rebecca Romjin. Probably because he knew he could never really have all of me! wink big_smile

Ditto LondonGirl. I love history so would be cool to meet some famous, from the past kick-ass wimmin.

Failing that, the complete idiot who failed to notice my rather large car one day and somehow managed take out the rear and right flank. Then drove off.

Before I die, I would like to meet Brad Pitt. Not only is he the hottest hottie of hotties, but a philanthropist in a world of few true philanthropists.

I've had some strange dreams in the last year, and wouldn't mind meeting some of the characters that keep recurring. smile  As to someone that I know exists, and is alive today... I think I have met all the people that really mean something to me.

I could name a few I NEVER want to meet, but that is another topic.

If they have to be alive now I'm not sure but I could name a list from the past because history gives us more insight

Yah I'd like to meet him too. I usually agree with his critiques, but I think he could be a little less honest, at times. He seems to say what everyone else is thinking, but then he goes off into this rip roaring feeding frenzy of insults that is unnecessary. Just my opinion;-)

mine isn't as much a who but a "what would I like to have happen" before I die.
I'd love to know that my family was "whole" again.

My family became fractured after the death of my father, in 1973. Everyone died when he died. He was the light force of the tribe...the heart and soul.  That's what I "want" to happen before I die.

I would love to meet A. Hitler and Osama Bin-Ladin, they are my great mentors. I would love to ask them how they made world history and to learn how i can create one. Albert Einstein is also my great inspiration when it comes to Nuclear weapon development,i wish i could see him too.

To become (in)famous isn't an achievement. It is always easy to destroy something but much more difficult to create something. I hope you were joking. My friend even if you are just a good man without being famous then you would still be fondly remembered by a few. But if you are infamous like these folks then forever you would be getting the ill will from the families who suffered directly/directly at there hands. Btw I personally would like to meet Nelson Mandela(his struggles both within and outside the prison is exemplary) smile

But Ray Bradbury is the most 'humanistic' of science--well, science fiction--writers, I think.  smile

I really have not thought about the answer to this question--it's weird, but famous people don't really have that much of an effect on me, so??  I'd really, really have to think about it...

Mine would be--where would you like to travel--what would you like to do?

@CW, Only if people can believe in -ve or +ve reward (by the supreme master of everything here on Earth and in heaven) afterlife, then they can start thinking of doing good than hurting others, do you see why Christianity is the honest guide to humanity? If only those guys believed in Christ Jesus, they wouldn't have ever thought of hurting the masses like they did. Give your life to Christ my beloved brothers and sisters: heaven is real, hell is real! Peace be unto you all.
