GT, you are reminding me or Ron White...except it's a couch instead of a bean bag, and if you are supposed to go on stage, I am guessing you aren't naked yet.
I'm in my boxers and socks still. Cheetos crumbs in my belly button.
Nothing says sexy like a bright orange belly button!!!
Hey Blonde, you can teach them some of your pole dancing moves or maybe test out your anal aphrodisiac enema on them!
Uh-oh - not good. Those enemas are distilled pure evil.
Is that what they do in the peoples republic? do you put ground rhino horn in it? Just what happened to your sausage any how? NM. Dont wanna know about the sausage.
I have 44 published and 8 unpublished hubs as far as the hub challenge is concerned. I don't take up anything which i cannot complete and would see to it that i complete it. However, My only regret is that when the challenge is over i should take up another challenge to improve all the hubs written so far which would be a total of 250 by then.
Hey Sufidreamer, CR and GT have done their thing, it looks like it is your turn. You are the icing on the cream cake
It's too hot here - I am already down to the posing pouch
With apologies to any other Hubbers who may be psychologically scarred by that mental image.
My family are all lazy and my Mum taught us to never try because then people expect too much from us. Now they expect nothing from us and we never let them down !!
The posing couch Sufi what is that?, does that mean you are naked on the couch
I am a great artist we could re-enact that great scene from the Titanic, I could paint you, your painting would be more famous than anything from Van Gough.
Sounds great If you want me to pose nude, please be kind - a couple of extra inches added to my thumbs will be appreciated
LMAO Sufidreamer amazing what dimensions a slip of the paint brush can produce....
An extra couple of inches would double the length
LMAO Sufi what are you saying here ....loooool it must only be one inch long, normally in my experience when a guy says that it is normally the other extreme....ooooooo you modest thing.
So Blonde, you going to enact that great scene where the ship took longer to go down than in real life?
I quit about ten days into the challenge, but think I only mentioned it in a comment. It irks me that I jumped in with both feet to quickly on this one. I've continued to publish hubs during this time with some trepidation.
From the beginning of the challenge I've seen the hub traffic I have worked so hard to earn for the last year -- first dive to half, then dive down to a third of that, same thing for comments. While I'm relieved that my non-hubpage traffic has remained somewhat consistent, I can't see this as a good thing.
Far worse, is that I've found it impossible to keep up with the volume of hubs to be read. I found less and less worth reading, so just reverted back to reading my favorite hubbers if they were publishing -- they have not dissapointed me.
For a lot of us who were not even participating the same thing happened with the traffic and falling amounts of comments so I can really empathise with how you feel,I am sticking with my fav hubbers too at the moment as I can't keep up. A big reason I am here is because I love people much more than I love money, and what got me with the challenge is the atmosphere changed, and I surely felt it.
Same here. Traffic from hubbers down and impossible to read all the new hubs. So, like you, I revert to my favorites. However, I've also been checking out new hubbers and "old" ones I never got around to visiting previously. Doing that, I found several new faves, so in that respect the Challenge has been a good thing.
Yeah Jerilee I agree. I haven't quit but I'm not killing myself either. I publish if I feel like it and if I don't I don't. I refuse to let the challenge stop me from producing hubs and luckily, most of mine are still being read and commented on. I had my little hissy fit earlier on, but then I thought I wasn't going to let some wanker hub challenge get me down. I was managing a hub every day to every two days and have continued doing that during the challenge. I'm trying to maintain my quality and that is more important to me than if I make 30 in 30 days or not.
Hahah Cindy I will do anything if Hollywood wants me too. Damn Cindy you are so astute, I never thought of how slow it went down until you just mentioned it. I cried my eyes out at the end when poor Jack was going blue in the water, and Rose was telling him don't go. God I am a complete sop when I see these tragic movies. The scene when they fogged up the car now that was A1, with those hands imprinted in the glass..damn yes.
Cindy -- you were one of the ones that did not disappoint me and often one of the bright spots in my reading of hubs.
I gave up after two - some paid employment came up, and that was that. No big deal
I totally agree with you Sufi as you said it is no big deal.Even with me working part time there is no way I could do it plus I did not want to, I would not have the quality time I have just to talk to you lovely people.
It is like a breath of fresh air !! I woke up this morning relieved and I am certainly glad that all of us are in agreeance we need to move back to being normal. Happy Memorial Day!!!
AEvans, I don't blame you at all. I've almost finished my thirty and I think I will stop there. I wanted to do sixty but I'm not sure if I still want to. When I'm done I am going to take a nice break from writing and try to catch up on my hub reading! We support you too, girl!
Hahahaha I wanted to try writing one hub per day for 30 days. But I am 5 hubs behind now. And I don't mind I just made a decision that I will just try but I won't publish something just for the sake of having to publish something. I am glad for the hubs I have written though. After two years, my number of hubs have finally increased to almost 49. Yay...
for anyone who hasn't seen this hub regarding hubchallenge check it out

The video Paper Moon made for this hub is fabulous! The man's talent is not confined to writing.
Bravo, GT, for pointing us to it!
It's an ace video - and look out for the walrus - aka C.C. Riter
HOLY SMOKE PAPER MOON THAT IS THE BEST VIDEO I HAVE EVER SEEN I am totally captivated by it, I am in a trance, hubbers if you don't go see it, you are missing the train. That was excellence at its best
I am still in the 100 hubs in 30 days challenge having written my 50th hubpage to date in that venture.
As this venture is a part of a group effort but hinges upon staying the course until completion of a project, I dare not quit. One person that I have never quit on is myself and what I started out to achieve.
The hubchallenge provides the experience needed if I decide to work for a client who needs work done by a certain time. Also by writing four hubpages daily, after the challenge; writing one or two hubpages daily will be a breeze.
I find it relaxing to write while watching TV or listening to music or some other sedentary activity and then sharing what I write with the hubpage community.
Quitting is not a choice for me and I never thought about stopping something that I started. Instead, I would rather try to complete the assignment sooner.
I am finding more quality ways of presenting hubpages that have not been replaced with quantity. I just find myself writing more and I thank you if you read this entire post.
I've pretty much given up on the 30 in 30 as well. I like to read other people's stuff and feel it's lame to just write, write, write, and never read any other stuff. Reading makes you a better writer too!

I understand some people are worried about the "antiHubChallenge" or whatever it's called, and I just wanted to say something on a personal level to get my own thoughts out in the open about it. And this is my PERSONAL view - yes, we do have a HubChallenge team and we...

I'm just coming back after a several year hiatus, and one of the most exciting things that started when I was here was the HubChallenge. Originally, it was 30 hubs in 30 days. Now I see it's changed to either updating your hubs or 30 hubs in 60 days. I tried the original once, and I failed...

Since I haven't written here for over four weeks I want to establish a writing routine again. I find it difficult to establish a routine unless I make it official. So to get going with writing hubs again, I am embarking on a new HubChallenge. I am asking everyone to join! Why? By the end, we should...

I have completed three 30 day HubChallenges. One in May, one in late July, and one during the calendar month of September. In all 3 cases, I published more than 30 hubs in 30 days. In fact, in the latest challenge I committed to publishing 45 and I did it. 45 hubs put me at...
