Wow.  I'm way ahead of schedule.  I was hoping I'd reach this by Sunday...Guess I was wrong after all.

Congratulations!  How many of those views have come from oragnic traffic?  That is where the real money is and it is important as both traffic from other hubbers and your own views could constitute a considerable amount of your views.

I checked MY ACCOUNT and it told me that I now have 1006 total hub views...How do I find out how much organic traffic I get?  I know that I can view each hub individually (i.e., facebook, etc.) but how do I do that as a grand total?

    1. BristolBoy profile image66
BristolBoyposted 13 years agoin reply to this

The only place to really find out is by using Analytics.  However, it is possible to get a rough idea by using the traffic sources in Hubpages and that will also give you a rough idea.

Thank you, BristolBoy.  I'm gonna give that I try.

As you get hits from other sites, they will all be listed underneath your hubpages total in your account where you saw the total.

Ernestshub, You do mean on the MY ACCOUNT graph at the bottom right-hand corner right?  It's showing 1006.  You do mean that right?  I just don't know where I can find out how much organic traffic I'm getting.

Thanks pepiplayer!  Which brings me to my next question: How successful do I have to become/ how many "hits" do I need per month/day in order to make some decent money?  I'm not looking to quit my job as I'm just curious.

How about Snake In A Monkey Shadow? Or Canton Godfather by Jackie Chan back in the day.

dohn121posted 13 years agoin reply to this

Dag...I didn't see those, Fiery.  It's been such a long time!  I do remember a few, however by Jackie Chan: Wheels on Meals, Drunken Master come to mind...Fist of the White Lotus and more recently, Iron Monkey, Hero, House of Flying Daggers...I will check out those titles however.

I remember back in the day on Fox? We had Drive-in Theater in which they'd play a Kung-Fu flick dubbed (hilarious).  Weekends were the best--Saturday morning cartoons, then WWF (wrestling) and finally Kung-Fu.  This was back when everyone had like 7 channels!

    That was quick!
    Congrats!!!

I think I must achieve that by doing some SEO witin 3 weeks. I had to travel alot these last few days which kept me from giving appropriate time to Hub Pages.

Thanks BP!  My drive is in HP but my heart is with you!  I will join you soon! (wink, wink)

Thanks, Ultimate!  Since I've been away for a little bit (32 hours away from a PC) I've gained 10 more fans and got about 160 or so more hub views!  I'm so honored to be able to collect more fans while away (sadly) from HP!

Thank you, Pete.  I hope I can match your immense ability to create so many quality hubs!

And thank you, Ladybird!  More fans like you and I won't have a problem getting along in the HP community!  I've been having some of the most fun in my life for the past 2 weeks!

Well done on your achievement, I hit 1000 views two days ago.... but I think about 200 of those views were from me, as they always seem to have about 20 views by the time I press publish!
