How are your earning this month compared to last month's?
Are you ahead at this point or lagging somewhat behind? Do you have any ideas to share on how we can speed up the process?
Sadly, I'm lagging behind, but then what can I expect? I have not been participating as much. I love HubPages, but it's very time-consuming and I'm trying to finish a book I'm writing, so my hub activity has fallen behind. The only way I can see to speed it up is to participate more. I'll be interested to read what others have to say.
I am lagging right now. I find that when there are holidays, good weather, or other events people often are offline. There are predictable dips in my earnings. A great example is that traffic is always lower on weekends. It's nice and its a holiday weekend. Also, it is summer and people are out and about.
I'm scrapping the bottom of the barrel getting a cent or two a day compared to close to $1 a day. With hundreds of views down to those I can count on one hand thats why...playing the waiting game.
Came across this fb group launched by one of our own so I'll join in that and see if it helps

After 5 months here, this is my best month ever at a little over $11 so far.
"Down, down, down like a burning rain of fire." Like the song, my earnings are down, down, down.
This is actually one of my best months since about a year ago -- those golden days before the "mighty panda" came along . Right now I'm sitting at about three times the earnings I had last month.
Very exciting - almost up to $1 now! I must be careful not to spend it all at once
My earnings increased a lot. I wrote a new hub and that made my earnings rise.
What I've learned from my experience (almost 4 years now on hubpages) is that you have to keep being active: create new hubs, comment on other hubs, participate in the forum, ask questions, give answers, ....
I've wrote a few of these tips on my hub http://lbramos.hubpages.com/hub/How-to- … act-people
hope it helps you!
I'm doing a little better this month. This is my second month here, I have one hubnugget and just got a hub of the week, so naturally, all of that helps.
My earnings have gone up! I started putting up new hubs and reworking old ones in the past 2 weeks and doubled my daily earnings. I have made almost $20 more this month! Next month, if my averages continue to stay the same, I will hit a little over $60 a month.
I am doing nothing more than doing my best to write good hubs, and doing keyword research before I start. With the new Penguin update, good content seems to be the key. Also make sure you are not over using your keywords. Old hubpages I went back to, pulled out my desired keyword in the content of the hub and replaced it with variations of it, doubled in traffic.
Great advice about replacing desired keywords with variations so the same keywords aren't used to frequently. I will keep this in mind as I'm writing and also look over my old hubs too when I get a chance.

I was wondering if there are many writers earning more than $100 a week? Consistently. Some people just write for their own pleasure, but others write in order to earn money. There are different ways to get your work out there, some pay whilst others do not. What are your experiences with being paid...

I'm extremely under-impressed since the **Maven** takeover. Yes, I regard it as a hostile takeover, and not a friendly merger! My earnings and traffic are WAY, WAY DOWN compared to last year at this same time, when they were way, way UP!!While I am still making payout each month, I am seeing a...

Anyone else seeing double earnings this month compared to last month?Halfway through this month I've made $3-something, compared to $3-something for the whole of last month - with the HubPages Ad Program. Although I'm not complaining of course, I do find it a little odd when so far this month I've...

Can I?I have a couple of smaller accounts. As Amazon currently operates, my earnings go into one pot. From what I can understand, that won't happen once HP take over my Amazon. Or am I wrong? If I'm not, why not? I am going to lose out as it is, and I can't see the separation of my HP accounts being...
