Has anyone else been having issues with Hubpages updating this weekend?
I am receiving advisements of hub activity on my email, but when I go to My Activity on my profile, the last update is two days ago. Anyone else having these issues?
Absolutely my friend. My hub stats. have not been updated in over 24 hours and I have noticed several glitches on here in the past few days. Hopefully Hubpages is aware of these problems and are correcting them. Have a great Sunday my friend!
Mike, it is pretty normal for weekends. I have learned to not even look at statistics on the weekends because they are usually not right.
Yes, it's a site wide glitch probably due to updates. This happens periodically and it is usually resolved in a couple of days and earnings/views etc. are properly reflected.
Yes I have! It circles instead of loading a page and reverts to hubpages "under update" message. Stats not updated, cant edit or add hubs. My stats are about the same age as yours are. I am waiting for it to come back for proper use. Thanks for asking I didnt think I was the only one, but glad to hear from a fellow hubber...it has been frustrating.
I started a forum on this yesterday. It's been 27 hours for me now. The staff will probably give updates on the forum so check there periodically.
Every other weekend the stats take longer to update. I don't know why so many long-time users act so shocked and outraged when it occurs, you'd think it was their first weekend on HubPages. Must be a lot of users with amnesia.
If you're new, I suggest not checking your stats on the weekends simply because they're likely to be lagging behind. And if you're not new, I suggest the same!
If i had to guess, I'd bet that Hubpages Inc. is now in a gradual downsizing mode, to match their decline in income. Most employees prefer a Monday - Friday type of schedule, anyway, so it's easiest to strip out or re-schedule the weekend staff.
I would not be surprised to discover that on the weekends, HPI has either one or none of their employees working over the weekends. This has probably been true for several weeks - if not several months.
We Hub writers may not like this (who knows, they didn't survey us), but I suspect that Hubpages Inc. will soon be 'computer-only' on weekends, overnights and on major holidays. That's my educated guess.
Yeah same for me I will just wait until it updates, since it has been over 31 hours since it last updated for me.
uhh yeah... and even though long-tiimers continue to reassure that this is normal I am happy to see others stressing like me. My profile says I haven't been seen in 37 hours and I've probably been contributing to HP for 30 out of the last 37 hours.
I am going on about the same number of ungodly hours...I have never seen it like this..maybe 15-24 but we are moving into days not hours
And despite others' reassurance, I'm watching my profile drop a couple and I can't help but think it has something to do with HP not recognizing me being here for 39 hours now. I'm missing notifications and so people I would respond to I'm missing...
No notifications for the last 3-4 days. It appears that it is holiday period at HP.
I haven't. I've been on at least twice a day all weekend, and updates seem steady. Traffic has been running low since Thursday, though, measured in page views. Not super-low, but the low end of my cycle.
I can't quite make sense of JeffDuff's perspective, as I believe all of these updates are already automatic.

Is anyone else having problems with their edits to answers not updating?Mine looks like it took effect when I go back into the edit window, but it isn't updating when I save the changes. Refreshing the browser doesn't help either. Am I the only one this is happening to today?

I've been experiencing a drop in traffic for the last week or so. I've been seeing a lot of people in the forums talking about how they are seeing increases in traffic, but I am seeing the opposite. Is anyone else seeing a drop in traffic?

With so much theft of my content recently, maybe I am paranoid, but I have to ask. In the last few days, I have had a huge increase in new followers. These new followers have either 0 hubs or 0 featured hubs. The profile pages are either blank or advertising something. ...
