   well, me too, but people come, people go - I should take a break from this myself cuz I'm not getting enough other stuff done.  I just bought a guitar which should maybe arrive tomorrow - so then I'll be preoccupied with that and you will all see a lot less from me!  life goes on.  not a big deal.

   I just tuned my guitar, learned how to put the strap on, and learned my first scale - I think it was E minor.  Plus I ate some cherries, made tea and got the mail!

    rice cooker? you can never fail with a rice cooker - cups are nice too.  but massage oil would have been wonderful - and maybe incense and some aromatic oils!  and soft music - instrumental so you can hear when they're murmuring in your ear.  SWEET!  now that's what I call consolation!  oh, and don't forget the candles!

    It's not looking like it's gonna be anytime soon as work is crazy and mama is not doing very well with her health. I'm worried and scared and just nerves are shot and I don't know.

    HEY!  wake up tribe!  are you all just checking in and not finding any tribers so you go away?  It's been dull around here for the past few days.  I left for only a week or so and came back to find all my old pals missing.  So what's up with that?  Are we just all doing good deeds? enjoying the pool? can't be bothered or what?  Nice sunny days here and it does seem a shame to spend much time in front of the puter, but I do feel a little like writing.  I am ignoring the contest but managed to write my hub on M.F.K. Fisher, my favorite food writer.

    Been trying to write hubs and prepare for a week long audit starting next week (Saturday) so not been on forums too much.. lol

       Guess what LeanMan - I almost fell over laughing this morning when I looked at our new George Foreman grill and it's name is "LeanMan"  HAHAHAHA!   so now, everytime I grill bacon or burgers or steaks or chops I'm gonna be thinking of you!  hahahahaha!  made my day.

                   I love venison, and quite enjoy ostrich as well (only had it once.)  What does camel taste like?  Is it leaner and gamey like venison, or is it more like cow beef?  Hmmmm... I think I'm hungry.

       evidently no independence from the English!  heh heh - considering it's British Petroleum we have to thank for our latest woes!  Always something, isn't there.
       
       But actually, no, there is no true independence - we are all interdependent - a lot of political nonsense makes our world very hard to live in because people believe in independence.  The 4th is one of those American Holidays (like Thanksgiving) based on a fallacy from the get go and causes all kinds of weird arguements, sometimes violent.  I like the pretty fireworks, but hate that they stand for the American belief that we have to kill others in order to keep our country strong.  what weirdness!
