      good, Steven, how are you?   I've been following all the drama, but am going to stop - its more boring every minute.  same old same old.  it is kinda fun to see what people REALLY think when they're not being all nicey - It's like when people have a big argument over something really petty and end up telling each other what they really think!  clears the air and then they can start working on the problems.  Altho I don't really think the forums have a problem.  So that's how I'm doing!

         lol. what drama?  what have you heard?  lol.  j/k.  yeah, you should've seen the pet inuendo forum.  some lady complained how there's too many sexual inuendos on hubpages in pet forums and stuff like that.  not that I don't agree with her, as i do. however it was kind of ridiculous on how much that escalated between all us arguing over something so stupid.  lol.  of course, i shouldn't talk as i was part of it!!!   lol

            that was it - it escalated to the point that Cosette dropped her account and pulled off her hubs, or at least thats what she said she was doing, I haven't checked.
            
            it is just silly - I think I may have made a couple people think that I was either (a) just nuts or (b) vulgar and stupid or (c) in attack mode.   maybe  (d) all of the above.  It was actually kinda fun, to be honest - I don't know those people very well, but man, they really revealed themselves!  that's always fun when you can get people to come down off their posturing and pretend "nurturing" and reveal how commercial and judgmental and mean they really are!  such fun!

   Yeah from what I can tell those will be the next three movies with Depp in them.
   
   I want to see the Imaginarium of Parnasus too. I'd love to see Statham do something similar to In the Name of the King or a second Death Race but I think they kinda finished that one off.
   
   I'm reading Witch & Wizard by Patterson now. Would kind of like to see this one go movie though I don't think any of his YA books have yet.

      I was a little disappointed in the Imaginarium of Parnassus.  There wasn't enough Johnny Depp for me!  It was fascinating to watch Heath Ledger  - he was great.  The design of the movie was uneven, though.  And there were some great laughs.

   It's YA but basically these two kids are kidnapped in the night and sentenced to die by the New Order for practicing dark arts. It kinda takes the whole one government for the entire world theme. There is the one who is the one and well I'm only about a 1/3 of the way in but these kids actually do have special powers and are part of a prophecy that is why the NO wants them dead.

         lol.   yeah, your  right about that.  although that kind of saddens because even though i don't talk to cossete often, she was actually one of the very first people i followed because I admired her work.  however, if what your telling me is true, then its kind of sad.  i mean we're all supposed to be a community of writers, but we're actually a community of idiots.  sorry if that came out wrong.  lol.  i just hope nobody sees me as some sort of jerk now for my role in it now.

    I like world music - things like chants from Tibet, Rumanian music and French chanteuses, also today I just downloaded Paul Simon and he is getting lonely so I will have to get him somebody like Paula Cole to play with!  I love these people and I'm always on the lookout for more like them.  Sometimes country-style stuff (not the mainstream but more like blue grass) - love James McMurtry - so just about everything including classical cello and flute and piano and choral music - I don't like rap or hiphop much.

    yeah, lorlie - I thought of that one too! I guess, I've always prided myself on not being a joiner and I hate to think with a group mentality, but since the Tribe is very very loose and is more like us old hippies just being all gentle and relaxed without no real agenda - it'll work for me!  and also, since I started the dam thing I guess I have to belong to it!  just remember - no agenda! no meetings!  no rules except the golden one! and free beer for all that wants it!

    Morning all! *stokes fire... tosses on a big old log to fight off the chill*
    Back at work, but I got home last night for the first time in 2 days, so I don't mind being here as much.
    
    I tried to catch up on the last few pages, but I just skimmed really.  I did find it funny how things got semi-serious there for a page or 2, and then... yup... right back to food, liquor and music.  That's why I love you guys!
    
    As for drama - I avoid it myself.  I figure I've got enough things to deal with in the "other world", as Mega calls it.  Hubpages is supposed to be my escape where I can relax and write and hoist a virtual drink now and then.
    
    Pinklee- I love your random song quotes... I like country too, and just about any other kind of music.  My rap knowledge is very limited though, not at the top of my list.  (I will admit to liking the Beastie Boys... inappropriate yes, but they always made me laugh.)
    
    Hmr - It was nice to see you drop by.  MY! You are busy.  Keep up the good works! Our poet laureate is quite the citizen.  (I hope that doesn't sound snarky - I very much admire what you are doing.)

    My rant for the day>>our school system shut down because of a possible accumulation of snow by noon. How crazy is that? We don't typically even see snow and they shut down because it might snow. Wow! Just Wow!
