I'm new here, and am finding it interesting and fun. I'm trying to learn about how to make money with hubs. I have, however, gotten sucked into the forums I've written enough there to fill up five hubs at least!! haha.
Anyway, I'm sure the new will wear off the forums, and I'll get some creative hubs written while I learn more about marketing hubs.
I'm really enjoying the community. Most people seem incredibly helpful, supportive, and interesting.
My name is Brian. I'm from Grand Rapids, Michigan. I just returned from visiting my analytics page. It's very interesting. I have visitors from Malaysia, Austrailia, and of course the United States. It's very interesting to find out where everyone is coming from.
My name is Nate, From Seattle Washington, I am new to hub pages. I am 3 months new and striving to post my thoughts on subjects. In the 3 months I have been on here I have learned so much from everyone.. I love this website... Just posted a couple new hubs couple days ago feel free to take a peak...
Wo! and my name is really Sandro-- well, no not really, but I have a cousin named Sandra. Anyway-- welcome to HubPages. (Word to the newcomers-- Get in there and write some hubs; avoid the forums for the most part.) Oh - I'm in California, and from California also.
I am Cagsil. Nice to meet everyone. I still consider myself new, but my number of forums posts might lead you to think differently. I'm very outspoken, brutally honest and defend other people, whenever necessary.
Friends call me Rose Mary, and in print in emails and such, RM.
Yes, it's 01:25 now, and the thermometer says 24 degrees. It's on the porch, so away from the house maybe another couple degrees lower. Tomorrow it's supposed to get down to 19. I went online and read about frozen pipes in Southern/warmer climates. Problem is, builders don't go to the same amount of trouble to protect pipes in houses in geographic locations where sub-freezing weather is not common. We have a trickle of water running in my tub. So far so good, knock on my wooden head. A friend of ours had a pipe burst though
bah. add the humbug if you want to My XMas "incident" we remain un-repaired as I the estimate was out of my short reach. I may apply for a loan in a month or two... But, I'm have a happy day just the same. Found a new project I'm researching
Okey doke. I didn't want a conflict of avatar interest or something. I'll need to drop this back into photoshop though. I kept the mug here, but it is too dark to really see it.
Wow, it was real hard to get a pic of myself, but I didn't give up Too bad I didn't do it before I cut my hair short. I don't look particularly feminine... LOL Maybe I'll give myself a new 'do too... See though, how so many ppl think I'm a guy
Sometimes I'm happy, sometimes I'm grumpy, sometimes I'm sneezy, sometimes I'm dopey, sometimes, I'm sleepy, sometimes I forget the rest of them. But mostly I'm just an ordinary average guy, like Joe Walsh.
Hello everyone...you guys can call me Crazdwriter, Crazd, Writer, or CW. I live in Cali with my Navy Corpsman husband and we have been married for 2 years. I am a fiction writer who loves to write horror, young adult, fantasy, and mystery. I am in the process of editing one of my novels and going to soon start sending out query letters to literary agent and hopefully soon become a published author. I am aways ready to help others and that includes if you want me to link one of your hubs to one of mine just email me it. okay I wrote a lot sorry about that.
OK, I heard the objections to my idea of no hubs/no forum posts and see the validity. How about a mandatory "Introduce yourself" post that has to survive not being flagged by X number of people in X amount of...
The discussion forum "Fiction Writers - Please Introduce Yourselves" (located at http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/91914 started by Website Examiner) is almost two years old. Website Examiner is no longer...
I'm not sure when you stop becoming a newbie, but I know being one is tough.Meeting people is even tougher. This forum is for the Newbie, I myself at 4 months still feel like one but also feel a transition to a more...
Anyone here think we should have a forum category, or sub-category of the hubber hangout or sandpit, where new members can come introduce themselves?I think it would clear up most of those "I'm new here"...
