Oh, and I have a rather large collection of books too!
I forgot - I also collect lighthouses! And I have tons of dust bunnies!
:
: Ahhh Habee, you have just hit on the #1 reason I try not to start collections. I have enough "dust bunnies" without the help.
(Although I did think about purchasing an elephant statue one time, it was 9 feet tall and about the size of a real baby elephant - thought it would look incredibly good nestled under a tree on my property - my honey was all for it fortunately - but I balked at the delivery charge. Probably a good thing.)
I’m a Collector’s lackey. My wife collects Department 56 houses; then I have to build a new sub-division for them each year.
Pictures to prove this contention can be seen on one of my hubs if you are interested. The hub is titled “Christmas Villages, Department 56 Collecting.”
I have been collecting empty scotch bottles for years, but each time I empty one, my wife throws it away.

old things - not necessarily antique, but I like old unique dishes, bowls, salt & pepper shakers, doilies, etc.
books, and I give many away.
I used to collect antique sugar, creamers, but I have enough now and stopped.
also, antique floral paintings or prints. that's all that hangs on my walls. just flowers.
If you asked my wife she would say crap but we won't listen to her! I collect fishing and hunting stuff mostly gear and books.
It seems by the e mails I received today. Right now I'm collecting a bully who's trying to provoke me. So today i posted more about that on this Hubber's hangout!
I collect coffee cups, mugs and steins from the places I've been. I collect concert tee shirts from concerts I have been to. I have collected coffee cups and concert tee shirts for over 20 years.
I collect my branded underwears.. haha.. trust me i had one 30 years old..lol
I usually dnt collect anything.. but these days a new fever has started up on me.. and thats of collecting wind chimes and branded shoes..

What do you think of hubbers who collect followers and then suddenly un folow almost all of them?I have noticed that a few people here on hubpages who were followers collected like hundreds of followers and then suddenly deleted almost all their followers. I do occassionally, and I know people with 80 comments or more -they are over time....But it seems some get 10-20+ right away in a short time. Is it cause they're long time hubbers, have tons of fans? Or is it cause more people are interested in the topic and it's quality?Or all of the above?anyways...

Well, I was coming to Welcome YOU to Hubpages! I'm sure Hubpages had a reason for pulling down your hubs and I'm sure that they told you why they pulled them down also. Why you would give up since you just started is beyond me. It shouldn't be too difficult to take care of the problem and get them...
