Okay, I know we all get weird and odd comments on our hubs on occasion, but this one was truly strange and was placed on my "More Pretty Kitty Pictures" Hub. It read as follows and was by an unverified poster calling herself "Heather":
"puppies are nice and cute and sweet as a pretty kitty and as a pretty doggy and COLL puppies and fab puppies To puppies you are good and CLEVER LIRE A CHIP YOU CAN CLEVER AND PUPPIES WONDERFUL AND PLAYING TO SEE AND GOOD LUCK TO YOU PUPPIES HOW ARE PRETTY COMET KERMILLIAN .. EVEY ONE IS WAITEING AND Squirrels."
There have been a string of posts to this forum a bit like that - someone suggested they are computer generated - might make sense if a programme could get around all the hubs etc and link back as long as it left some kind of post generated from random phrases linked to the original hub ???? Like a kind of virus that crawls around all the hubs linking to them - would be awesome if it got ALL of them ?
THIS JUST IN!!!!(from the Super Duper Hokey Computer!!!)
There is an interstellar gang of puppies that are arriving in the cosmic dust cloud of the Kermillian comet. They will then join all renegade squirrels in a nut raiding party and take part in kitty abductions!. No mans nuts are safe! Hoard and hide your nuts! Women be dilligent to protect your pussies so as they are not Kittynapped!
Just a thought, but maybe someone is pulling our legs here, and this is a ruse of some kind. There's no better place to have your chain yanked than in these forums! Not that I am a critic, but hey.......
maybe a cat typed it? or a person with poor english? or its spam. I get emails liek that ALL the time. Its pretty funny tho! My sister in law got a t-shirt in Korea, it said..in very beautiful sparkly cursive... Fruit Funch California Dreaming Who Gardens? In any case, the squirrels ARE waiting...
i'd agree with a person not able to speak english well. i used to be a tutor for non-english speakers. and this looks like an essay one of my ex-students would send me. major headache whenever i had to correct those. take a peek at *engrish.com* you'd know what i mean.
like I said, the T-shirt from Korea. While there, my sister in law also taught english. She has some funny stories of things said..and things she said by accident too...I HATE to think how awful my writing would be in a language Im just learning. Ive been speaking English for 33 years and still get it wrong!!
Dont worry. Squirrels are cunning, resilient, and damn good fighters. Notorious renegades they are, and one day..oh yes, one day those puppies will be singing a different tune, and the kitties will be begging on the street, because the Rebel Squirrel Brigade HAS HAD ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!
How about sharing your weirdest comments? I've had quite a few, some I keep and others I delete.I just deleted one comment that was an entire conversation between several people about a totally unrelated topic. They seemed to be chatting about leg warmers from the 1980's. It must have been cut and...
What to do? This Hubber was 'sickened' by the content of my work, left a rude comment, and did not have the guts to email me, explaining what his/her point was.I know the topic of the Hub is quite controversial, but if he/she found it so terribly offensive, why on earth would he/she read it...
Has anyone ever gotten this strange comment from a John Doe?"This review has zero content, like most of your site. You should be ashamed of your web SPAM. We can see you are all about ad revenue and just copy content from others to post more ads."It was posted on my hub here:<link...
So, I've always thought it was the polite thing to do to reply to commenters, and thank them for their time and input, and I've made an effort to do so consistently. However, I'm wondering if this is now being discouraged by HP, as there is no available comment box for replies on hubs that have been...
