I requested that all of my work in niche sites be moved back to Discover HubPages. Now the metrics on my profile and my articles have dropped 30+ points. Any one else have this happen?

Yes, the same thing happened to me. I always had a few articles ranked at 100, then loads in the 90s. Now the highest is 66.

My hubberscore was always in the high 90s.

It doesn't make sense at all.

Many of us have experienced this, Cat.  My LetterPile publications dropped 10-15 points, each, within hours of being moved to Discover.  My poetry articles have scores that plummeted to the 60's.  It's been a tough road.  I wish they had warned us about this at the onset of the change.

Please don't worry about Hub Scores or Hubber Scores. They do not impact your articles. We are working on making adjustments.

The answer is always 'don't worry about Hubbers or hubscores'. But now come the new thing to make 'adjustments'. But how?

Wow, Cat, 30 points is a lot! After I requested the move my hubber score and hub scores all dropped by about 10 points.

I haven't been submitting anything new because earnings are almost non-existent, but even my evergreen ones have slowed. 20 -30 just seems a dramatic drop across the board.

We are all in the same boat. Unfortunately, things are seemingly similar to the last days of Helium (for those who remember that site). Once they were bought, the new management ran it into the ground and made changes that lowered our views and payments. Wasn't long before the site closed down. Not saying that's the fate here, but we all have to be vigilant.

My most lucrative period here actually occurred after the move to Maven/TAG, so I don't see it the same as Helium.

I think HP always managed to come back after Google hits. But they didn't have an answer to the last wave of algo changes.

That only happened about two and a half years ago. HP did fine for me for much of the time after the move to Maven/TAG.

HP did lose some of its community aspects after the move but it wasn't bad for views and earnings until relatively recently.

      It's screwed now, though.
