    I encountered the same problem when I opened HP using Firefox. After reading the posts here, I am now using IE. Problem is, I can only access IE using my laptop. When I'm back home, I'm using my desktop, which does not have IE at all. Plus I hate IE. I hope this gets resolved soon sad.

      I am also using Firefox.  Try the following, it worked for me TOOLS> OPTIONS> CONTENT> Uncheck the Load Images Automatically then click Exceptions> copy paste http://hubpages.com/my/hubs to block it.

      Hi Emievil smile

          This should be fixed in just a few minutes.  Paul's on it right now.  Hang tight.

    My IE crashes my comp, so I've found a workaround. Open an email that has fan mail in it, and navigate to the link. From there, you can open all the buttons like My Affiliate Links etc.

    go to page source, and ten search for the title of the URL, this will give you what you need to copy and paste after hubpages.com.  Man I will be glad when this gets fixed!

    Glad to see the banner is gone and all links are now working.

    Several Hubbers had constructive criticism about the lack of effectiveness of that banner. It was misleading.

    If you want to promote the HubNuggets campaign, promote it on the standard or customizable home page for members, and on the HP home page that appears to those who are not members. HubNuggets is a good program for encouraging new contributors, engaging the community, and setting some kind of bar for quality. Explain it that way on initial landing pages for members and non-members.

    And now the banner is back and the links are down again.
    ::sigh::

    The banner is back for me and I can't click any of the links in Chrome.

    I refuse to use IE. I would rather throw my laptop out the window than abuse it like that.

    Please tell me this banner isn't going to be there all month. It is a bit intrusive.

        Sorry Maddie, the way the posts are, I didn't even see your reply at the two hour mark.  Just the ones posted 8 hours before.
        Maybe I should change the settings.
