If you put a link to one of your hubs in the Extreme Hub Makeover forum, other hubbers will check it out for you. That is the only forum where you can link one of your hubs without spamming. Also, folks are looking there to find new writers, not here, so you will get more notice there.
Your best bet is to post links to your new hubs on http://hubpages.com/forum/23 as this is the Extreme Hub Makeover Forum, where you are permitted to post links to your hubs in order to get constructive advice from other hubbers.

I now have 17 articles published and most are in niche sites. Why am I not getting comments from readers? I have very few comments so far. Is this related to quantity of impressions, where the more impressions I rack up I could get more comments coming in?Appreciate any ideas.
