I just did a quick calulation for February earnings based on January activity and wow!  I made slightly over $700 on 56 hubs.  These earnings are from adsense, amazon, eBay and my own affiliate links.  And, I think I may come close to $1,000 for March (Feb activity).

Now, if only had 500 hubs....

Only started my hubs in February, but I'm encouraged so far. No Amazon sales, but Adsense is OK so far. I would have made a lot more if I had allowed my Adsense code to be used on hubpages from the very start!

Try "SEO-Quake" if you want to get information about any site. That add-on checks for backlinks/rank/indexed pages etc by attaching the options to right click menu.

Well I just started HP and am enjoying it! As far as the money goes well.... I wish it would gain interest while sitting there. In reading over the replies one question keeps coming to the forefront "Writing for Adsense" How do you do that? Not sure, maybe one of the "vets" can explain what that means. Congrats on the mulah!

Booo!  I can't use Amazon.  I live in NC and Amazon pulled out because of their unfair tax practices.  Good for you though.

    Hi all!

I'm enjoying Hub Pages, but it is taking up a lot of my time. I have no idea if the site will earn me any real money. Somehow I  have managed to amass a few pennies ~ I think via adsense ~ but that's all.

I love books, so Amazon would seem a good site for me to earn from, but I'm not sure if it will work for me, as I'm in England.

I have joined 'She Told Me', but I'm still rather in the dark about what to do, to actually make money from my writing.

I think that I shall need to re-read all of the advice pages & hubs, as I'm still relatively new to all this.

    smile

Trish, you can't use the UK Amazon on HubPages, only the US one.  They will send you a US dollar cheque.

    Hi Nelle,
Your hub on how you made I think it was 8500 in 2009 was the first Hub I ever read and was the reason I joined HubPages. You had me so interested that now I am addicted. Between my full time job and other activities this is all I think about ha-ha how scary is that? I am just trying to figure out the whole backlinking concept. I figure I will have to start my own website so that I can sign up with E-Bay and join a few of the other sites you can write on for backlinks. Hubpages will be my main site as I really do love this website. Great people great hubs and so user friendly.

Oh you asked a question right? smile I haven't earned much of anything yet but I don't expect to earn much for 4 to 6 months as I learn to figure everything out.
I am here for the long haul.

    Cheers Nelle,
    Grant.

Feb. was good, but March is my best month so far with Adsense! Amazon sales have picked up, also.
