This person can write. Period. (And despite my bad typing.)

If you don't like these hubs, you are a poor reader, have no taste, and/or, well, if you say you don't like them outloud, I will know sooooo much about you.  But that's okay, because I accept all kinds of people.

There's no way I'm going to read them after that.

You ruined it before the fact.

Only for the disingenuous and the weak.  Which is fine.  They won't be missed.

I hope the author appreciates you going to all the trouble of turning people away from his work.

I damned sure wouldn't want to - I think the two are most likley the same person trying to self promote in a sneaky way really

for shady breath - What? O.k , first off just because someone dosn't like what you like dosn't make them a poor reader , if someone simply  does not agree with your opinion it dosn't mean they have bad taste and for the person who's hubs you are referring to - I would suspect this would piss them off - because you have turned people off of their hubs with your comments - your rude - basically - just rude and I can't see as you would be able to make many friends here - we are a group of supportive , friendly people who share different views and still have respect - since you don't may I suggest some other forum somewhere else

Yes, please, leap to the defensive.  Seek no humor or lightness in anything anyone says, and assume villany.  Everyone is attacking you; there is no merit or benefit in challenge.  Just be defensive and expect that everyone is weak and thin-skinned and that those who aren't only mean malice.  Keep projecting weakness and a lack of backbone on everyone and self-fulfill the dire prophecy.  Oh, and don't forget that "we view the world as we see ourselves."

This kind of crap is probably why great writing like this is not getting a good hubscore.

Some interesting hubs there for sure. I don't think everyone would find them all that interesting though, and i wouldn't think someone has poor taste if they didn't.

I'm off to read them, because I know if you recommend a writer that writer has to be good.

you make absolutly no sense whats so ever - If you think that kind of stuff is  humurous you have to be a self indulged, ignorant idiot - a waste of time to chat with -so as for wasting time, I don't have it to waste I'm busy doing better things - go away to some other forum full of weirdos who will actually waste their time trying to understand other weirdos like yourself you will have more fun there anyway smile

I used to email or voicemail myself from work to home, but haven't thought about it since I retired.  Thanks for the reminder.  I may start emailing myself again to remind myself of important stuff.

I do that constantly.  In fact just two hours ago or so I was at lunch with my wife after having spent some time working on a story, and as we were eating something popped into my head that would work well for the story, so I quickly emailed myself.  I ended up sending three emails over the next ten minutes because follow ups kept hitting me between bites of avocado egg rolls.

I have very bad taste.  It is well known.  I looked in on classicalgeek  - simply adore the name.  those hubs look delicious and I will gobble them up someday when I am in the mood to read about those things, but today I want to learn how to when making of the sentence splitting of the infinitives.  and so I don't have time to get better taste - altho the picture above looks like it would taste good.  how can I get me some of that?

If you have a BJ's restaurant near you, you can go and have some.  Think of it as a precursor to meeting God, as I believe they serve these in St. Peter's waiting room.

I found one not too far away and I will try it - and while I was looking there was a picture of the Pizookie - which is exactly what I need after my eggrolls.  Thankyou, oh, thankyou.

Haven't met an avocado I didn't like.  Luckily in South Texas, we never run out of them.

I bookmarked a couple of classical geek's hubs. I like the idea of the herb garden, but it's so hot in here, you'd have to water twice a day almost half of the year.  Never happens.
