Sounds like a plan.  I think posting in the forums does help the score.  You know I was here on hubpages for a year before I started signing in and looking at it more closely.  I just think it is fun and addicting, so I like it for these reasons.  Before Hubpages I used to write book reviews for amazon, but this is so much better.

I presumed your "post October" comment referred to a change of White House inhabitants, which implied politics. If I presumed incorrectly (again) I do apologize.

USD strengthening will lower the price of crude oil but not by much. I don't see a gallon of gas getting much lower at the pumps, even after Labor Day.

    1. Gawn Fishin' profile image60
Gawn Fishin'posted 16 years agoin reply to this

The price of gas has never gone down when the cricis was over.  Not after the big 'shortage' in the '70s, and I would be very surprised if it ever drops at all.

Oh no. I did not involve elections in calculations. My entire post October argument is based on services revival (mainly banking) and housing prices. Although I differ on oil prices, I would very much like to see that. Oil is a tricky business right now and not even the best of analysts can predict the future movements accurately.

I believe the majors government took in the second half of the last year to battle sub-prime crisis will bear fruit only in the far end of 2008. The econic condition at the end of third and quarter may see a drastic difference.

Hi again everyone.  Internet has been going in and out all evening AND we've had terrible thunderstorms with lightening since about 7:00 pm.

Lightening hit a gasoline tanker at the railroad yards about  2 hours ago in KC, KS.  Huge fire!  They estimate 9million dollars of gas is going up in smoke.  Had to evcuate several businesses and homes downwind.  Well, that's a little more pennies at the pump!

Everyone go to bed early?  If this next wave of storms is as strong as they predict, that's where I may go to!  Trying to stay up past the 11:30 tornado warning.
