Hi,
I made an acceptable amount of money for being here just one full month with 52 hubs written by the end of November.
I sold 25 Amazon products and shipped 19 with total value of over $1000.
I'm quite happy!
P.S. For a detailed analysis and screenshots of my hubpages traffic and amazon associates sales, please see my hub I wrote on my earnings.
Congrats, but I am surprised that Amazon did better than adsense. Usually the ratio is the otherway around with more adsense revenue than amazon.
It's quite normal if you focus on sales hubs. It's easier writing a hub that sells a product a month for a $3 commission than an Adsense hub that gets the number of clicks needed to have the same success. At least, for me with my current level of understanding of internet marketing.
That hasn't been my experience at all. My Amazon earnings are generally 3 to 4 times as much as my Adsense.
Congrats Peter, you're off to a great start. Whatever you're doing, keep it up!
That is fantastic - great work! I have been on hubpages for almost four weeks and have zero Amazon dollars, and $22.65 from Adsense. I am sitting at 4935 views as of a few minutes ago....
Wow, that's amazing. I have been here for several months, and yet to make $4.00 total. Glad to hear that it is working for someone.
When I hit $1000 per month I will buy you a bear
I wonder if that is a record here.
Anyone else have such success like Peter?
The guy from The Keyword Academy made $450 in his first month with 100 hubs.
Yup, but that shouldn't stop us from aiming for the same - or better.
If you can turn Hubpages in a business that adds $500 passive every month, that's extremely powerful. That's $72K/year after just one year... the price money is definately worth spending a lot of time learning the ropes for IMO
Peter, I'm not sure which country you are from but October is spelt October not Oktober as you spell it.
That said you have done fantastically well! Congrats
Oh sorry, I was very tired yesterday? I'm from Belgium. Oktober is the Dutch way of writing October. Will fix it. Thanks.
I intended a . and not a ? at the end of that first sentence. Just saying as I reread this and it could sound rude the way it's written now.
No I understood. I thought you might have come from Germany, but then again the Dutch and German languages seem to be similar in a lot of ways
By the way, there is an edit button on each post that you can use for a little while after posting if you want to change a comment
I am surprised there on not more Dutch people here on HP considering almost total command of the English language is so widespread in Holland. I have always admired how good the Dutch people are at foreign languages. Here in Spain, the Dutch people do well because they are so multi-lingual.
Congratulations, Peter - that is truly a great start to what will certainly be a great writing career. Keep up the good work!
That's great! Now write some more hubs and make some more moola!
Congrats! Good achievement in short period of time. Keep it up.
I'm glad you said that kmackey. With all the good news on here, and that's great for those guys, I was beginning to wonder where I went wrong.
Er. Congrats to Peter though of course. Well done.
this is one of the best first month performance in HP I guess. congrats
That is amazing - congrats! My record month is around $67 so far but you have only been here 5 weeks. I think you have the potential to do very well for yourself! Please keep us updated on your progress. Good luck!

For me October has been the best Adsense month to date - will have made payout in one month for the first time. Yeay!!!Amazon has had the most amount of sales, but not the highest value, month yet (will be hard to top the $2500 diamond ring in June!!).Hope you have all had a great October...

If you have a standard Hub that gets Amazon sales once in a while, keep the Amazon modules and get those 10% sales. Those Hubs have lots of Google history and I still get sales on them. A hat Hub just got two fifty in sales. Now who would be excited about $2.50? Me!So the old formula that Google...

If we turn off HubPages Ads and replace them with one Amazon Ad would our ability to earn decent money be compromised? Would we still earn from Adsense? Could someone please explain the different scenario's to me so that I can better judge and understand which option is better for...

My September earnings on HP amounted to more than $1,300. That includes Adsense, HPads, and Amazon sales. IF (notice - big if) this continues, hubby will be able to retire soon, which has been my goal all along. Last November and December, I think I made around $1,200 for each of those months, due...
