Short Pat Pat on the back, now for all you big money ad-sense guys and gals, I have analyzed my traffic and the convergence of 200/400/1 seems to be a tipping point in the acceleration of earnings, since I hit 200/400 mark, I have had some earnings pretty much every day (though not always from clicks), the question here is - What was the tipping point for you?

Congrats! That's a great holiday present smile.

I guess my tipping point was when I wrote a certain hub that had my traffic shooting up. My highest Adsense earning for one day is like $5 plus and that was during my first month here. Haven't been able to top that since then but I've received my third payout a couple of days ago so I'm good smile.

    Congratulations Hmrjmr1!

The tipping point for me had nothing to do with fans and everything to do with learning how to do keyword research. I have 100s of hubs that do nothing, and a few keyword researched ones that do well - not brilliant but good enough between them to build on.

Thanks Izzy my keyword ones do well but most of my work is not oriented towards $$ so expectations are low on those, appreciate the feedback

I'll let you know when I get there Hmr!  I'm still firmly at the bottom of the see-saw. lol  I'm not trying very hard these days though - so I can't complain.  Been focusing on other things.

But, wanted to say CONGRATS! Even if I can't offer any useful "tips" to the thread.

    Happy Holidays as well sir.

Congratulations on your success. I'm writing my 10th Hub today, so I have a long way to go!  I'm wondering if you can steer me towards a thread or tutorial about how we know if our adsense ads are being clicked on. I'm not sure how to track these statistics. Thanks so much and again, yay for your success!

    1. simeonvisser profile image65
simeonvisserposted 13 years agoin reply to this

You can log into your Google AdSense to see how many clicks there have been on that day. If you also create a Google Analytics account and configure that properly with HubPages, you can also see which hubs are making you money. I don't know any hubs that do that, I simply learned this from the help section and the learning center: http://hubpages.com/faq/ and http://learningcenter.hubpages.com/

Meg Simon beat me to the answer, there are a ton of resources here at the hubs, RebbeccaE is one of the brightest stars in this arena, as is Habee, you should check them out.

Congratulations Hmrjmr1!  And what a lovely time to get your payout.  Here's to many more payouts in the New Year.

For me, my tipping point was after 12 months and 100 hubs.

Hmrjmr1posted 13 years agoin reply to this

Thanks Flight Keeper, Great job by the way! Though I've been a member for 18 months It took me 6 weeks before I published anything, then have taken a two and a half month break, and recently a four month break, when I moved to take a new job. So When I'm writing consistently I guess I'm doing OK. Thanks again love your work btw!

Congratulations!! I love reading success stories smile

My best moment thus far was reaching 100 hubs in under 50 days. (That took a lot of work, though lol!)

100 Hubs in 50 days is astounding!  That's a disciplined two hubs a day for 50 days.  That's pretty cool.  It took me 12 months big_smile

Thanks flightkeeper - It was a challenge, but I will admit some of those hubs I had been working on on the side while publishing others... I was also waiting to begin a new job so I had more free time !

I published my first hub the night of December 30th.

AdSense Balance at end of August: $111.34
    (Payment issued in September.)

At the time I had 17 hubs and under 100 followers. Things picked up since then. I think payment #2 will be earned in a few days.
