I just wanted to say goodbye to all you wonderful and beautiful people here on hubpages. After receiving a hubpages e-mail from HP staff regarding some crazy new policy. I felt it was probably a good time to move on and move forward to achieving new things.
I am grateful to have met some wonderful people who are fantastic writers. I am also grateful to hubpages for allowing me to test out and learn new writing skills. I had three hubs that were on page one of Google for their categories.
Although, I have not been around as much as I would have liked to read all the wonderful hubs that are here, I have to admit that I will miss the community.
I wish you all the best in your futures. I am thankful that I had the privilege to follow and be followed by incredibly gifted and talented writers.
Take Care and keep writing
Sincerely yours,
Whikat
It was a pleasure getting to know you. I'm saddened you're leaving. But, I hope and wish you the best going forward. Be safe and take care.
Sorry to hear you are going - I hope that your future endeavours are all that you want them to be - go well.... cheers
Thank you everyone for the well wishes.
@IntimatEvolution Apparently they accused me of promoting some cheesy survey site on one of my hubs . The actual site that I had linked to was a top notch work at home site called
ratrace rebellion which is definitely not an affiliate site or survey site in anyway.
The funny thing is Hubpages used to advertise on that site for writers and maybe still does (I don't know) Oh well, I considered the e-mail to be an invitation to move on to bigger and brighter things.
Take care everyone
To Your Best Life Whitkat!
You have a great attitude and a talented writer.
Good luck to you, Whikat! Justice is often...well...just ice!
Whikat, I had a Hub unpublished for a prohibited link, and it turned out to be a mistake. The link was to a completely inoffensive website. When I queried it, they agreed it was an error and republished the Hub.
Some of the moderators are fairly new and they are under pressure so there are bound to be errors sometimes. It's frustrating that it takes so long to get an answer from team@HubPages, though.
I see you have no Hubs left, so it's a bit late to suggest you leave your Hubs published until you've found alternative homes for them, so you don't lose income. That would certainly be my advice to anyone else who's thinking of doing the same. Anyway, good luck.
Seems like you've made the right choice. Hubpages is providing us with the right amount of motivation we need to move from here.
Good bye and good luck Whikat!
Whitkat,
I am so sorry that you're going. Many hubbers seemed to be going or reduce coming in here.
I hope it goes back to normal. Hang in there, we're all in this together.
No need to run off Whikat! We've all experienced the hassles of the policy changes. Don't take it personally. I've unpublished hubs and had dozens and dozens to have to revamp for various things.
Bye Whikat - I will be sorry to see you go, you are the only hubber in these forums who I have seen apologise for getting something wrong respect !
Yeah I wouldn't leave just yet, Ive had one or two to alter but my traffic shot up by 300 views last night
Oh I'm sorry that this has occurred with you my friend.. there are MANY Alternatives to HP and MANY Have actually pursued those options.
Who can I argue the color of words with now?
Please... Stay in touch Whikat...
Don't you give up on, or get pushed away from your goals - By Anyone! Take Care and Be Well.
Shhhhhhh S7.. You'll get me Banned Again for the Sharpness of my tongue
Wow Ritchie... I was just thinking about the color of words and Lightening struck me at the time... I guess.. that was Blood On Your Screen!
I got one of my hubs unpublished but I'm not discouraged nor planning to go away either. @Whikat and others leaving; you're always free to sneak in at anytime.

I just wanted to say thank you all of you who have provided me support over the last year. After a full year of HubPages, I decided to migrate all of my content over to my own blog (and have completed the transition about a month ago).HubPages was a wonderful learning opportunity and a great...

I have just started, so I dont expect it in the near future, but how many hubs, or how many months before you start making money? How much traffic is considered to be good traffic? Right now I am getting about an average of 75 hits per day on 4 hubs. Is that good? What...

Hi,Do more experienced Hubbers have any useful tips for getting your article moved to a niche site? I kept seeing advice that goes something like "make sure you write a high-quality article" but it just seems so vague to me. I have 9 articles now and the only one that was moved to a niche...

Yep, that's my 2010 HubPages goal - write 1,000 hubs in 365 days - with a minimum 800 words (probably more). While I keep all my other affiliate marketing websites spinning as well. I do truly believe in the money-making power of HubPages, so I'm betting a significant proportion of my 2010 work...

So I had decided not to put any more Amazon modules on my hubs as I was not seeing any sales etc from them...then I login today for the first time ina couple of weeks and I had sold a chainsaw and a bunch of romance novels....what the heck? Hehe, none of my hubs have anything to do with...
