The Japanese knotweed plant is both a nuisance due to its rapid ability to multiply as well as a boon due to its medicinal abilities. The plant originated from Asia but is also found in other parts of the world. Linda gives us very useful information about the various parts of the plant and its species.
Thanks, Linda for sharing. The link for reading more is below.

Thank you very much for sharing the article, Ravi.
I find the Japanese Knotweed plant very intriguing. While it can be a problem as a pest, there is every possibility of its medicinal values. Indeed a plant like that would be interesting to research rather than eradicating it from the world, without us knowing what other mysteries it holds. Thank you, Linda, for the awesome share.
Thank you Ravi for sharing Linda's work.
This is a very interesting article Linda. I think the white flowers are pretty. I know plants that take over like this one can be a nuisance. I enjoyed learning about this plant as I don't think it grows where I live.
Thanks for posting Linda's article Ravi.
Hello Linda!
This Japanese Knotweed plant sounds familiar to me. As the name suggests, I believe it must be growing all over. But, since it has medicinal benefits, it is valuable, and looks pretty too.
I know of some plants, which grow here and there, without any care, and they have medicinal properties.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, with the readers. I am enlightened.
Thank you Raviji, for sharing this excellent article.
Thank you, Chitrangada. The plant is thought to have medicinal benefits in some areas, though I didn't investigate that in much detail because it's considered to be a pest where I live. Like other plants, it may be beneficial for us in specific ways, though.
This is a very beautiful plant. Thank you, Linda, for this interesting, informative and educational article on the Japanese Knotweed plant. I especially liked the picture of the flowers and leaves of Japanese knotweed. I was familiar with the name Japanese bamboo, but I didn't know much about this plant. I learned a lot more about this beautiful plant by reading your hub.
Take care and stay safe!
Love and Blessings!!
Thank you for sharing this article, Ravi. Linda has written an excellent account of Japanese Knotweed. This plant has had a lot of bad publicity in the UK due to its aggressive growth and the damage it can cause to buildings. As ever, Linda has included a lot of useful information and great illustrations.
Another interesting article you have written, Linda. I'll have to pay attention to see if we have any knotweed growing in our area. You have captured some good photos. It would be pretty easy to identify, especially if it is blooming.
Thanks Ravi for sharing Linda's article.
Interesting article on the Japanese Knotweed, Linda. I also feel it would be better to observe the plant in a controlled environment, rather than eradicate it completely. Thanks for sharing Ravi.
