Yes, my daughter is a hubber here on HP: cardelean. My other daughter does not write but I've written a hub about her daughter writing, (my granddaughter) who won an Honorable Mention through Writer's Digest at age 10. I think if my other daughter wasn't so busy she might try her hand here as well.
My sister is also a hubber here, Danette Watt, so we come from a family of writers.
My daughter is quite young at the moment (10 years old). She loves writing poetry and stories. She is in a writing group at school and every spare moment is spent writing. All her pocket money goes on notebooks, writing pads and folders. She can't wait until she is old enough to write on HP. There are a few kids writing clubs on the internet that she has joined.

Yes my son has been both reaiding and writing since he was very young. He has had no choice his Mother is a teacher. It is a curse.
