Gojira - By far the best giant monster movie EVER. I know King Kong is the popular vote on that one, but to me, it's a lot like a 1933 version of Avatar. Sure, it's pretty to look at and the visuals are absolutely STUNNING but it's not much else. Gojira, on the other hand, is a multi-layered story with so much going on and such a resounding theme and such INCREDIBLE atmosphere that it's hard not to get caught up.

Forrest Gump - By far Tom Hanks' best performance and one of the most iconic characters of all time. Also, the mix of humor and drama is one that I LOVE.

The Thing - My favorite horror movie EVER.
