   If you had superpowers, what would they be and why?
   
   I'd probably have the power of flight since sometimes when I'm in traffic, I tend to get a little impatient. If I could fly, I would be able to go anywhere in the world in no time.

   Any super powers at all.... The ability to time travel. Then I'd really know what life was like for the people who put up Stonehenge. In fact, with time being on my side :-)) I'd go anywhere that a text book has made a hypothesis on something in the past, to see the facts as they were - and put them right if need be.
   
   Visiting the main pyramids in Egypt would be a must, to see how they really did it.

   To be clairvoyant.  Being able to read the minds of other and sense things that other do not sense gives a huge advantage in danger detection.  It also helps for make good decisions about people and events.

   I would be decked out with more than just 1 super-power
   
   1. The ability to fly - super cool & very useful
   
   2. The ability to read thoughts & feelings of others - not to be abused, of course
   
   3. The ability to heal others from injury or illness - I love helping people
   
   4. The ability of regeneration  - so I can heal myself as well
   
   I would be a fast flying healer who could tell if you are lying or trying to trick people.  How awesome would that be?!

    This is a fun question! If I had super powers I'd want invisibility &  time travel ability. You could also throw in super strength & flying capabilities just for fun.

    I guess if I had to choose, I would want to be able to fly.  It would be nice not to face traffic on the road and just be able to soar the sky.  I would also like to be super strong to rescue people in tough situations.

    Think of what you could do with that. You could wish for people to be cured of illness or help people when they need somebody or something. If you were feeling greedy then you could even wish for anything you wanted and even more powers.

    The super power to heal those who have a medical problem. Yet...in our own minds...do we have this power, already? The brain is a mysterious and powerful part of  every person and there are abilities within each that we have only begun to fathom. The brain secretes hormones called chemical messengers(serotonin and melatonin) and these help activate the neurons that create the vital functions of the brain. Scientists say that when chemicals are released, they have a healing capacity for areas in the body that need attention. Also, the therapy that may be in the form of arts and crafts, sewing, cooking, research in a chosen field and outdoor activities, such as walking, bike riding, tennis, ball sports and even sight seeing, all seem to have a healing ability in our minds and bodies. Just talking out your problems with others and writing about your feelings, have been seen to be helpful in healing. Super powers don't have to be of a super man's or woman's abilities of fantasy, when they can be very real!

       Interesting point of view....I never thought of it that way. I've read that the brain has some abilities that we still haven't even touched yet. Think of about that we only use about 10-15% of our brains. What does the other 90% capable of?

    Mine would probably the be ability to read minds. Not to abuse, exactly. Pretty much just to be able to tell if someone is lying to me, and how they really feel about things.

    just think, no need for money, I just give everybody what they need... (I give my family REALLY good stuff)
    no sickness because all the viruses everywhere die...

    I can fly at faster than light...

    If I had a superpower it would be rapid adaptation. My body and mind could quickly optimize itself. Things would be a lot easier. Instead of training or practicing over and over again and slowly getting better I would only need to do it a few times to get really good at it. It would be very useful for a lot of things. If having a really good memory made the task easier than my memory would improve. If I was injured my body would heal fast and become more resistant to injury.
    
    I spend a lot of time training so I can do things like bike 37 miles to a beach or do push ups with my legs in the air. It would be nice if I could get better at things really quickly and improve more than a normal human could. I would be able to use my abilities to have a lot of fun, make more money and to help people in trouble.
