Can't argue with that pick...but my first choice would actually be One Tin Soldier (Baez).

Great group - I would have offered "Who'll Stop The Rain" by C.C.R., but it came out in the 70s sad

I am not sure whether this is a 60's song or not, but I was thinking about "We Shall Overcome"

One Tin Soldier! I love it! Never heard the Baez version. I think the one I know was done by Coventry. ??

I didn't see anyone post Eve of Destruction by Yager & Evans! It was a great song for a "thinker" and wow, has it been coming true! "Some machine's doing it for you" .. so many true lyrics!
