Is there a  food or drink that you disliked as a kid that you still won't eat or drink today?

For me it was milk. I have never liked milk and I don't drink it.

Liver, corned beef hash, creamed cod.  My dad liked odd things and we were forced to eat them.  Oh, forgot the liverwurst!  EWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!

Big lumps of liver, the sort we were served up at school. I can eat chicken livers and liver cooked well in France though. I've never been faced with sago pudding since school, but I'm doubtful that I'll like that now. As a child I can remember being faced with a plate of cold brussel sprouts that I wouldn't eat at lunch time, and I vowed that when I have children I'll never make them eat anything the REALLY don't like. Love sprouts now.

Sprouts, my mother loved them and never missed a chance to serve them up for dinner. I can just about manage to eat a couple but I still don't like them.

Still not a big fan of avocados.

Although I have managed to develop a taste for some of my least favorites as a kid: tomatoes and olives.

I love offal, and, of course, it is very cheap because so many people don't fancy it

Yes!  Any juices such as those "jugs" or "barrels" of fruit juice - they are not pleasing for me as well as broccoli, and many other things.  I have a fear of trying new foods so I usually stick to the same diet as i did when I was a kid.

BEETS! Man those things will kill any good mood  I'm in. They are the things that God put on this earth to rub in my face like "HA! I'M GOD AND WHEN YOU ARE 6 YEARS OLD YOUR GRANDMA WILL SHOVE THESE LITTLE BLOOD RED BITES OF BITTER JUSTICE INTO YOUR MOUTH AS EVERY MEMBER OF YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS LAUGH AT THOSE LITTLE TEARS OF BEET JUICE DRIPPING FROM YOUR MOUTH...HA HA HA."  Yeah. I really don't like beets but, I love you granny.

spam... nothing like a piece of unknown type meat covered in jellied fat to make someone want to puke. My mom made it because it was a cheap meal. I couldn't stomach the smell or the taste! YUCK!

liver...didn't like it when I was young and my parents served it to us for dinner (sorry mom and dad)  Liver and onions....still doesn't sound appealing to me as an adult and I don't think I'll make my kids try to like it either

For me it is liver and onions. I could never get past that metallic taste. My mother would make some kind of flour gravy to go with it. It never helped. It was horrid. I think I remember only one time where I enjoyed it. I am not sure what she added or took away. Now that I think about it, I think I will call and ask her.

Well, I love liver and onions with brussels sprouts now.  I think a lot of the problem with them when I was a child was to do with the liver still having those horrible veins in - I always cut them out when I cook now - and people used to overcook their vegetables, which makes brussels sprouts very pungent in flavour, and not very tasty.

The things I have always disliked and still do are guavas and mackerel. Yucky-poohs
