Well, I would have to say Blueberries for regular pancakes. But I would also say hot cocoa mix ( just a little bit) to get some chocolate pancakes with chocolate chips! yum! I wish it was breakfast time.... 3 more hours to go.
I like cinnamon too, and a dash of vanilla.
going to try danielcarters pumpkin recipe for breakfast thanksgiving morning.
Vanilla sounds good too. Never thought to try cocoa mix. Sounds tasty. I've used chocolate chips before.
To me it came as an accident when I had 2 over ripe bananas and experimented and add it in my pancake mix, to my surprise my kids loved it!
My husband makes "Elvis Pancakes" bacon, cheese(thats for me) and blueberries!!!
I like using an equal combination of white flour, whole wheat flour and cornmeal to make my pancakes, with a dash of vanilla, then fry them up in a bit of bacon grease.
They are good enough to eat without syrup or jelly.
baking powder or soda? eggs? milk or water? ever try buckwheat?
Soda, lemon juice, milk for breakfast, water when they are a side dish (served with stew), eggs and salt.
I have not tried buckwheat, thought I have used barley and/or wheat malt. (use hop tea for a beer like flavor)
I keep a cannister of very fine sugar with a vanilla bean it in. It is the sugar I use to bake pastries and pancakes - and it smells like a bakery when I use it
I like to add cinnamon powder, vanilla or almond flavoring, apple sauce, whip cream . . . oh my goodness, these are all fattening! :-)
Enjoy your pancakes!
I like to add root beer, vanilla, and cinnamon. Then reduce some root beer to use as a syrup. Its really yummy and a nice little twist to enjoy
If you like sweet potatoes then adding fine grated sweet potatoes to your pancakes makes them so delicious. You will want to peel and grate your sweet potatoes and then brown them in butter before adding them to the pancake batter.
i like to add vanilla extract cinnamon and syrup in my batter.
This isn't in the pancakes, but rather on the pancakes....I have to have real maple syrup and real butter. No fake syrups and no margarine.
We like to add fruit. Especially bananas, blueberries, or apples. Also a few pecans are good. Then top with some Cool Whip.

I have new neighbors, needless to say it has not started out as a good relationship as one of them said to me in all seriousness that he would kill my cat if he caught him in his yard again. They've been there a week, I've been here 7 years. I've never had problems with my cat in my neighborhood in...
