What do we do when hub contents are copied within HubPages? I came across this:

    http://hubpages.com/hub/Twelve-reasons- … se-tonight

which is obviously Cindy's though the newbie forgot to copy all the pictures Cindy used in hers. Here's Cindy's:

I guess the poor guy joined to make a quick buck but seriously you(best if Cindy) can contact hub pages folks: copyright@hubpages.com with a subject line mentioning- "DMCA Complaint"

Here is the URL for taking care of such issues: http://hubpages.com/help/copyright_infringement

I'll leave it up to Cindy. Btw, thanks CW for sharing this option, at least I know what to do when goldentoad copies any hub from me! LOL big_smile

You can email Cindy just in case if she fails to check this forum. Btw if Goldentoad ever does that then I am sure that would be the highest form of praise (didn't you know imitation is the best form of flattery)..hehe. But knowing Goldentoad he will take the same subject and twist it upside down to give his own unique flavor of humor to it.  tongue

CW - I posted the link in her hub and told her to get a glass of water before checking it! LOL big_smile

    juyuva - i didn't bother checking big_smile

I guess you let her off lightly with just a glass of water. Knowing my "hub elder sister" maybe she prefers a liquid which is a little "stronger" tongue

Cris, I'm so glad you caught that for Cindy. I got a kick out of your comment on the guy's page. smile Hope this doesn't mean that Cindy's original is flagged. I'm still dumbfounded over how this can even be possible within hubpages.

For the record, I'm without any good internet service, and my computer is acting up. Grrr. So here I sit on an old laptop trying to get whatever internet juice I can. It's weird, but I can post here on the forum, but I can't leave comments on hubs. sad So you all watch out when I return! I've been reading what I can and I'm chomping at the bit to comment! wink

What irritates me more is that he has apparently ignored my comment! LOL he could have deleted the Hub and we all might charge it to newbie jitters!

Poor you! It gets even harder when you have a mouthful to say! LOL Have your computer fixed ASAP! And you know I'll be around when you return - I'm always around (Sheesh, I feel like God!) big_smile

Pam- Just a suggestion: Open a notepad or word document then copy the URL's followed by the respective comments you want to write and save those comments for later copy paste (here I guess Copying is allowed) tongue

Ah Cris, thank you big time! smile It's torture.

Since you're here, I want to quickly mention that I read your art history hubs last night, and they really are super. My old crotchety laptop wouldn't load the pictures, so I'll look forward to visiting those again when my computer is back. wink

Good job flagging the offender B.T. smile BTW...congratulations on winning the boring hub contest!

I have so little respect for plagiarists because typing your own hub is not that hard.  People take the time to create their hubs and do not deserve to have their intellectual property stolen.  I think plagiarism is the worst thing a person could do to someone else, you are stealing their intellectual property .

I think it's been deleted now. I cannot access the plagiarist page anymore. I hope he won't find his way back. So not welcome.
