And my ebay tells me so!

I forgot it was November, and when I logged into my account to get a widget for my blog, I was shocked at the earnings for the month.

Then I remembered it was November... People are buying. Ebay is over $650. Last year this time (November 2009), I only earned $145 and pennies.

Just checked my Amazon, and EEEK it's high too... I can't wait to see my December earnings. I can't believe how much I've earned via HubPages. My last year's earnings for November (paid out in January 2010) was just over $250. This year, my earnings for the same time frame is over $775, and I still have the rest of the day to go.

Truly inspiring Whitney.  All the more reason to keep plugging away at hubs to get ready for next year.  I've been happy with my monthly stats as well.

Whitney - has your Amazon updated today then? Mine hasn't. Or are you very disciplined and only check it every now and then rather than every single day (come hell or high water smile )

You forgot it was November? I do love you Whitney! Congrats on all of the $$$$. (Spacey she apparently checks her stats once a month.)

    Thanks everyone!

Spacey Gracey, I almost never check. I will check it if I'm logging in to get widgets or something, but I haven't really logged in all month. I don't obsess over it, as there's nothing I can do about the earnings; people will click and buy when and what they want to.

Nelle, for some reason it completely slipped my mind. I mean, I know we just had Thanksgiving and I've been buying Christmas gifts, but for some reason none of that clicked today. I was thinking I was getting an early Christmas and that my holiday revenue was starting in October, as for some reason I thought it was October. Ha

I can't wait to see the December buys. This is definitely a good time to watch and see what's buying bought most often to make more hubs on those topics. Every now and then I do that, and it seems to work for me.

The best part is the year over year growth.  Gotta keep reminding myself that we are planting seeds.

    Congrats, Whitney.

Maybe in a few months the novelty will wear off and I won't be glued to my computer at the same time checking the earnings smile

Spacey after 10 years, I still check stats for every network at least once a day. During Christmas, perhaps 2 or 3 times a day. It's still as much fun to see sales as the first day. The amazement that I can sit on my couch and make this much money has never worn off.

And it really is amazing. Everyday is like Christmas! I feel so blessed to be a part of Hubpages.

That's nice to hear - I know my spike in earnings is Christmas related but I think even after things settle down I should be able to make enough drinking coffee at my kitchen table to mean i don't need to get a 'proper' job. Its nice to hear it can still be fun after all that time. I do probably waste too much time checking stats and converting earnings into £ but then that's what motivates me so who knows, maybe it actually makes me more productive smile

    Congrats Whitney!!!
Nelle it is so nice to hear from you again. I know checking the Amazon stats is addictive, but the time frame it updates generally IST time is not the same for me.
This is going to be my first 100$ month from Amazon alone, I know it is not huge compared to all the other hubbers. But I am so excited it is my first ever month *it shows Amazon works should only know the tricks of the trade*

Kidgas, planting seeds is exactly what we're doing, and the seeds just grow and grow every day. The good thing is unlike real seeds, these plants never really need trimming on the overgrowth...

Nelle, I just don't have time to check daily. I guess I know that I did what I could and just hope people click. I will admit that I check ebay and amazon occasionally to see what is being bought so that I can get more ideas and to expand into multiple hubs on the same topic. I did that with ebay; I took one series and found which hubs within that series was more profitable and broke those hubs into individual series focusing on that particular topic.

Spacey, I can see where checking can give you more incentive. I guess I just don't care to. Other things to do. The occasional check is always good for me though. Sometimes, you just have to do whatever works for you.
