What would happen to the christian religion if every christian believed everything that Jesus is said to have said.
Is Jesus the foundation of the Christian religion?
Are the things that he said held in the highest regard?
Is it blasphemy to interpret the words of christ to conform with that which anyone else says? or should we consider anything that doesn't agree with Jesus as incorect.
I don't exactly understand your question, perhaps an example would help.
Like what doesn't agree with Jesus?
Sorry just not getting the question?
I got the idea o this thread while reading many other threads. concerning his coming again, the great tribulation and such.
There are many times that Jesus makes simple statements, but because we interpret a disciple to be saying something different, we disregard Jesus's statement.
Such as a statement I made to earnest a moment ago.
The wolfe has snuck into the herd, and reads the prophesy about him snaking into the herd pointing to prophesy and forcasts this event to occure at some time in the future.
How many times does Jesus say that "this generation shall not pass till all these things be fulfilled".
And Paul says that it hasn't come yet. and for a very long time, the wolf continues to say that it hasn't happened yet.
In fact he is still saying it.
There would only be one Denomination of Christian...Instead of 30,000+
Jesus said, "You are either for me or you are against me." I will believe what He says over anyone else.
It has been a while sinse I have said this.
Them words that are written in red are my most favorite.
Anakin Skywalker: If you're not with me, then you're my enemy.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: [realizing that Anakin is consumed by evil and there's no reasoning with him anymore] Only a Sith deals in absolutes.
LOL I thought of the same thing
A false dichotomy.
Jesus: If you're not with me, then you're my enemy.
What SirDent should have said: [realizing that Jesus is consumed by evil and there's no reasoning with him anymore] Only a god deals in absolutes.
You are a day late and a dollar short my friend. The proof is here, and so is the knowledge.I am His example.
I have learned over the years there definitly is a difference between Religion and Jesus Christ. And He , himself, if the words are to be true, stated for us to question Him. so....
We have had nothing but enemy and suspicion between the Denominations for a Long time, trying this the other way would be a welcome change to me.
Yes there are too many variations of one truth.
Faith in a denomination is not the same as faith in God.
OOps look at that. It's midnight.
Gotta get up early in the A.M.
Night Yawl.

RELIGION VS THE BIBLE.This is a striking subject as it has being somehow controversal in all ages regarding it's relationship with the Bible. Anyway, I know Religion could be man made in nature as it is widely claimed to be related to God and deities. What is Religion all about and it's realities...

Why is there so many different forms of Christian Religion? When they all preach that they believe in only God, Holy Spirit, Son of Christ.

In Christianity, do non believers go to hell? What happens to the people that believe in another religion and another God. If the Christian God is the only true God, then are those people damned?
