   Like the title reads: If you could sit and chat with one person in history, who would it be, whats the first question you would ask, and why did you choose that person?

      First question, Will my internet business survive the next few years?
      
      Why, watching his video's have taught me more than anyone else on the web about how to succeed and all this in only a few hours. I would love to talk to him in person.

      The Apostle Peter.
      I'd ask him to to share his personal story, in person, of how he got forgiveness for denying Jesus the Christ and went on to become a total follower of His.  If more sinners could grasp that concept of repentance and forgiveness, their lives would be changed so awesomely!   And his timidity of heart at first is similar to my own experiences...

      My first question to him would be, 'Of the many teachings you have taught your students, which one do you treasure most?
      
      He is a remarkable figure whose teachings can apply to our lives now, which makes me think he was thousands of years ahead of his time.  Now that is incredible.

    Lincoln, kind of an idol of mine, subject of one of my hubs. He fought depression his whole life and still accomplished so much, lived through one of the darkest times in America's history, plus kept a sense of humor in spite of it all. I would ask him how he kept a positive outlook when his life was so difficult.

    I'd ask if Antoine Busnois really wrote L'Homme Armé, and listen to Dufay conduct one of his own three-voiced chansons. Then I'd come back and publish a paper about late Medieval performance practice and be famous!

    Why just ONE? I'd like to have Oscar Wilde and Helene Hanff ("84 Charing Cross Road") in the same room!  I tend to clam up in the presence of celebs, so I'd let Ms. Hanff grill Wilde.
    
    If it doesn't have to be a FAMOUS person from history, then my choice would be my great-great grandmother, Elizabeth Camp Langley, whose ancestry remains a total mystery.
