After writing 19 Hubs I finally reached $1.00 in Hub Earnings, it may not seem like much, but to me it was a milestone. Now if I could just get some adsense ads clicked or some amazon purchases, and people to leave more feedback so I know what I'm doing right or wrong, any ideas? I am also really excited, because for the first time over a quarter of my hubs are showing the little traffic up icons in statistics, so things are going well, people are actually reading my articles! Fellow newbies, how are things going for you? Experienced Hubbers, how long did it take before you really started seeing alot of traffic and earning regularly? Any advice to help things pick up the pace a little more?

It took me at least 2 months to get my first accumulative $1.00 in earnings.

It sure is exciting when people are reading our hubs! Excited with you big_smile Your $1.00 in Hub Earnings seems fast to me. I've come to realize it takes months even a few years for one's material to become known and frequently visited on the net. It's like our hubs must mature to becoming known. And then, to also think of it being similar in a small way to the stock market--i.e. traffic will likely go  up and down. However, we can expect a gradual rise over time, along with the ups and downs.

Wow -- that is great!  I know what you mean by $1 being a milestone.  But you have been here only 3 weeks!  So not only have people (presumably) read your hubs but they have clicked on your ads as well.  So you must be doing a number of things right.

You have an interesting variety of topics on which you write.  I'm looking forward to reading them.  Best wishes and enjoy continued success!

That's cute! I haven't reached a dollar yet, but, that's alright.  As I write the hubs, I learn; as I read others' hubs, I learn.  My dad used to tell me that real fortune is not in the dollar you earn but in what you learn. He said, the dollar can be stolen by thieves, it can be lost, it can be spent;  but what you learned will remain stored up in your head, adding wisdom. It's good that you posted in this forum because somehow, one of the well-seasoned hubbers will share with you their techniques and formulas in how to financially succeed in hubbing.  As for me, I know my patience  and hard work will pay off SOMEDAY smile  Am happy for you!
