I didn't post the original thread. Yes, it's for real.

Need someone to write 100 Hubpages

Jeeze I wouldn't look at DP for writers though - not if you wanted some slight level of quality!I also wouldn't outsource 100 to one person - I'd probably split it in 10 and ask for a paid sample from each new writer before I gave them the other 9

Omigod Omigod is that even possible, well what isnt possible if you spend money nowadays. i wish i could hire someone to do the bookmarking for me lol...(i dont have cash though)hahah

Of course it is and yes of course you can outsource bookmarking too - though its harder to track than writing contracts. Read Tim Ferris' book The 4 Hour Work Week to learn how to outsource your life.

I didn't bother outsourcing the entire hub creation - just the writing...

I think it's Hup that's done it.  He's paid people to write for him.

lol Could be. If I had done that I would have had to set up a new user account. We shall see if that was a wise choice or not in a few months time.

I have? Hmmm...I didn't even know that. I hope that they wrote good stuff. smile

I would never pay anyone to write for me, that would pretty much defeat the entire purpose of what I'm trying to do.

Kinda funny that someone else is willing to pay for them though.

Well, Hup did say he was setting up a new user account!  Won't that be hilarious!  He gets everybody to do the challenge and then he pays someone to do his ones! lol

He's also generated mega traffic to his existing hubs by announcing the challenge - and now further traffic as it's gone viral by being found on DP advertising.

Way to go. That's working smarter!

That's the difference between wondering why you're earning $1/month from hubbing - and being out spending your $100k/year from it!

      Good man.

once I reach $3/day from hubpage earnings, I do plan to sit back, relax and outsource.

I love the guy who said he could do 100 in 5 days. If only those 100 would be quality stuff. Ha.

I wouldn't mind doing it if the price was right, but I have enough on my plate with my own hubs and blogs, plus reptiles, dogs, and work... Too bad. Ha. 100 for $10 wouldn't be that bad. Ha

I was tempted... I figured I could get some cheapo person half way round the world to write it ... then I could simply re-write it in my style in 5 minutes each.

Didn't though... I feel proud all my stuff is my own work - even though I've only created 3/100 so far and am seriously behind.   The one I've just done took me 2.5 hours ... I thought it'd take me just 10 minutes when I started!

There's an entire cottage industry of people who write hubs and lenses for a living. Squidoo even has a section where you can buy and sell lenses using paypal.

There are books out there about making lots of money online and working only a few hours a week. And that's how they recommend you do it.

I figure write a hub for someone else and make maybe $20 once. Make a hub for youself and get paid forever.

It is no surprise really that people are willing to pay.  That person in the link is saying he is willing to pay between $3 and $10 per hub.  When you consider that many people make more than $1 on average per hub per month that means within the first year an 'investor' has made their money back and then a bit more, and if the hubs have been written correctly they can continue to make money for years longer.

I followed a woman who had her own challenge going on to make $1000 in a month writing squidoo lenses. She did pretty well, if she is to be believed. She was starting to branch out into hubs as well.

It depends if you need money right away, then I can understand it.
