ok this is silly but...it is an answer...i am ll months older than i was at this time last year in january i will be another year older....
Not being much younger than I was a few minutes ago (when my pinkie finger hit the wrong button on this silly keyboard...) I will try to remember what it was I had to put forth here prior to that all-too-common mis-tap.
I can tell from reading the responses as to the question about your age that the first thought most responders had was, "How can I get away with a bit of a lie here?" My thought then is to be different. I will flat out tell the truth even though it may cause you to laugh and carry on.
I am older than a rock. A giant redwood tree has nothing on me. I remember when it was just a little nut sort of thing when I was a real big nut. It rained the day before that and the oceans almost overfilled. Then, out came the sun. It was really nifty how everything came together. Finally, I got to share in a whole day off. The whole week was like a vacation in spades - stars at night, sun during the day, water for fishing, deer for chasing, and so much more that I can't today recall the whole deal. Good thing I had my old box camera with me then, but, alas, most of the old pix sort of disintegrated with time. You know how that works, right?
Back not so long ago, like right around April or May in 1960, one of our bosses, a nice lady sailor whose first name was Maggie, flipped on the electric light switch to our workroom. As she flipped the switch, she hollered, "And let there be light ! " One of my then buddies, sort of a big mouth type named Maurice, hollered back, "Yeah, Maggie. You ought to know. You had the duty that weekend."
That startled me, for I had never realized that Maggie was also older than a rock.
Doggone it ! How'd I miss out on Maggie that whole week back then?
Very topical subject for me - as I am starting to question this myself!
A few weeks ago, the (extremely) old lady in front of me at the supermarket check-out started talking to me about the excesses people buy in modern times with regard to food. She actually said, "They don't remember what it was like during the war with rationing, do they? They don't know they're living nowadays, the young ones." And I remember...? My mother used to tell me these stories from when she was a very young child. Rationing was long before my time.
Yesterday, I was out with the dog when an equally old man commented on the snow and ice and how it was a hazard to, "Old fellas like us!"
I honestly believe I am 42 but maybe I'm simply reminiscing in my twilight years - or Twilight Zone...???
Well you must be a gey old looking 42!
Time to get down to the gym and work on getting that trim figure back (note to self!).
No, honestly, I am a good 10 years older than you, and I am pretty sure I see 40 year olds as young 'uns now.
Policemen positively look like school-children, and doctors look as if they are not old enough to go to university, never mind graduate!
Anyway, it is also possible that the old yins you were talking to are a bit doo-lally.
honestly, whatever thread this is the smiley faces are freaking me out man
Yeah, but so relevant! Post your link Kimberley. Jamaraqui? Who??
Can't stop laughing at these.
Now I'm sleeping on the sidewalk an I know why.

I've spent hours today tracking down a blogger on WordPress who has numerous blogs and stole one of my best hubs. This impacts my traffic and, thus, my earnings capacity. It happens so frequently (and to so many other hubbers) that it is not only time-consuming and frustrating, but makes me and...

First, please forgive me if this has been asked a hundred times already. I've tried searching through the forums, but without a better search feature, it's difficult to find out if someone has already asked about the same problem I'm having. The only thing that came close was "KNOWN ISSUE:...

I will admit right off the bat I don't think my comparative studies between having HP ads on versus off have been very scientific. However, I am NOT impressed with my earnings when I have HP ads on. What I make with them on I consider a terrible Google Adsense day. So, I'm giving...

OK, HP is changing. The owners of HP believes that they are doing what is necessary for THEIR survival and growth.I''ve been using this site for six years, and honestly, the one thing I have learned is to take the long view. Let them do their thing, and at some point they will settle down and we...

A simple question. About 100 pages or so are added to HP every day. Recently HP changed its mind, and allowed thousands of un-featured pages to be indexed. You can see the spikes in the stats in the image, but the stats dropped back to the 'normal' level. I recently added a lot of pages to my HP...
