Jesus is God as Man, the word Only Begotten means "Mono Genes", Gods only self. Because God created man in his image and likeness, he made it possible for himself to be human like us.This is what God did to be able to be mans eternal ongoing sacrifice in order to make man eternal. So thats why the bible says Word became Flesh and dwelt amoung us. So I presume you know God has many names and one is The WORD OF GOD.

1Jo:5:7: For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Joh:1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Joh:1:14: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

So Jesus Christ is God, thats why he also says.

Joh:14:9: Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

    Pretty simple

Jesus is better than Mohammed, Buddha, Krishna, Shiva etc they were all men that never became God, and are still in their graves.

    Cheers

Honestly, I don't think you need a special body to manifest love.

Jesus was and is still Totally God and Totally man, fortunately there is no other that can be this. When he was resurrected he was still a man, but an Eternal man, and so were the others that came out of their graves at the same period in time as Jesus.

M't:27:52: And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
M't:27:53: And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

This is interesting.  I've never thought of Jesus as totally man too, just man when He was on earth (for 33 years not 31 as I previously said).  I've heard that some believe that Melchisedech from Genesis 14, the priest of the most high God that blessed Abram before God name him Abraham could have been Jesus.

"18 But Melchisedech the king of Salem, bringing forth bread and wine, for he was the priest of the most high God, 19 Blessed him, and said: Blessed be Abram by the most high God, who created heaven and earth." Genesis 14:18-19

Catholic priests and priests and ministers from some denominations are ordained into the priesthood of Melchisedech.

Those saints that came out of the graves and were seen in Jerusalem when Jesus died on the cross were the first that overcame the second death (Revelation 2:11) to received the resurrection of the body.  This is proof that Jesus opened the gates of heaven with His sacrifice.  The saints that came out of the graves when Jesus died on the cross are at least some of the hundred forty-four thousand, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb that follow the Lamb where ever He goes (Revelation 14:1-5) and they are also of the 12 tribes of Israel (Revelation 7:4).

Yeah it just makes sense that Jesus was and is still Totally God and Totally man seeing the first fruits have received the resurrection of the body.

      Thanks
      Mike

I like Jesus myself. A spiritual journey is in itself made up of free will. In other words...your free will decides your path. This is how God intended it. Just make sure you are on a good path. That would be a logical statement for anyone to make.

Jesus may or may not have been a genuine historical figure. I'm inclined to think that he was. The sayings ascribed to him are so remarkable, so idiosyncratic and so out of the ordinary for the time that they were committed to paper (and now) it's impossible not to think hard about them.

Is a person one or the other.  The question is subjective.  Are you body, or soul?
