You have no right to love me!

Who are you to love me? An amazing question. Is it not.
I do not think most people get the funny kind of weird thing. I feel a love connection to all living things. That does not mean that I like my mean oldest brother. But I love him. I really do not like Michelle Obama but I love her.
No one has a right to love another. But I do not know another that I do not love. Kind of an annoying idea.
It is this strange energy that floats around and through us. Most of us like to call it love. I also like to call it Jesus. I get it that is extraordinary. Like some kind of Holy Ghost, like some kind of God. Oh well.

I had a brother that was not a brother. He was a cousin but not a cousin. Our families began love for each other during WWII. And Scott was the finest man that ever told me that failure was OK. He flew a crop duster into a power line and left us while in his prime. Scott is with me. He also let me take the yoke of the plane a time or two and I did fine. He was my brother because he loved me.

We should not want to win. We should want to love each other. Well I love you and I hope that does not make you upset. Thanks for reading.

This is very confusing, Eric.   How come you ramble on?   This is more like a poem revealing your confusion.   Are you confused?   Or are you clear?
Love and like.   Can you truly love without liking?
Maybe its just me who is confused.

My dear love Kathryn. You make me so happy. My hope was to confuse. Because this life -- Love --- like is hard to figure.

I must admit that I am very old. I really am not confused. But what I wanted was to get across that confusion in this area is OK. I want others to see my weakness so that they are not alone.

There is no confusion in you.

Kathryn, it's easy to love your children..
Sometimes it can be very hard to like them.

I would say it is very hard to love whom you do not like.   Maybe that's how God can love us selfish, arrogant, ignorant, slobby, disrespectful and unappreciative jerks.

Eric. You've obviously lived through many wars. In the military, a medics duty is to tend to and try to save the life of any wounded soldier that is in need of medical attention. I said ANY; ours or their's. If an enemy soldier lies with a bullet in his leg, the medic is to attend to him the same as if it were one of our soldiers. This means he is there trying to save the life of a man who's sole purpose for being there is to kill him. Do you think he likes this man? Does he even know this man? No. But even our war happy military understands love of life and compassion for all, no matter what side they  are on. This is not a matter of what country someone is from or what uniform they are wearing. This is the importance of life from one man to another man. This is love; not like. This is not a case of a soldier following orders. This man  knew, by being in this position, that he would probably find himself in this situation. He also knew he would be in the thick of battle, unarmed. This is love for not only men he didn't like. These were the men sent to kill him; men he didn't know.
Are you going to tell this medic he has no right to love others? I'm not!

IDONO that is cool writing and a great big fantastic point. Thank you much.
Can you imagine that medic. So real so much strength.

Just as an aside, you also perfectly described my vocation.  As a preacher.
