What’s most influential to humans Civilization? Art/ Religion/ Science

   No doubt that art came first long before consciousness came to life. Art came before speech, in turn, created other elements of consciousness. We imitated the sounds of the environment for music and moves of the fire flames or dance over many thousands of years. Speech was Religion earliest form and the homo sapiens smartest man in cave created fear of a supernatural force, to explain unknown in order to control the masses. After religion, art will follow the way of the dinosaur yet crosses over with science at creating entertainment. Hollywood is one of the largest venues of all time, an improvement from ancient Bronze Age sheep herders story tellers around the camp fire.
   
   Art is to please, religion is to fear, science is to observe, and philosophy is to doubt.
   
   I’m an artist who draws freely upon my imagination, and find it Godlike and more important than knowledge, including the Bible’s. Add Love to furnished Nature then encircles the world to altered consciousness, carry no regrets.
   
   Do you agree Art has been more influential to mankind than the Bible or Creationism beginning of mankind?

      Nothing said or ignoring tells me more about this topic than people having to say a lot about nothing.
      People fear death more than to live life to the fullest. It's show me the religiously impaired will continue to be hypnotized and over controlled by the religious bullies  impossible laws. Love and Freedom is more possible, I'll spend far more time with social society of Artist, who are kinder towards nature, and the live and let live ways of the world.

   Art. For most people, religious is/has been incomprehensible without the aid of art. Many scientific ideas are likewise hard to grasp without visual aids. Innumerable ideas, constructs, and concepts have been introduced to the human psyche through the use of art.
   
   Oh, and I guess that whole storytelling and emotional expression nonsense is pretty important, too.

      What nonsense? The Arts is the most expressive form of communication that humans understand. The shading/colors/moving lines/body/dancer/ fluid harmonies/song reach a depth that simple conversation never can. We see picture in our mind first before words, like a picture is wroth a 1000 words. A piece of art creates a reason and the most persuasive tool of mankind since arts and culture boomed began 30,000 years ago. What good is the ultimate word of God and it’s fight club, when different countries languages that use words, do not express as well as visual image dose in of one’s culture. Politician and religion do know the art of mind of suggestion to control the masses. Too bad because the private sector or (on their own)can do a better job themselves in just about every area.

   Castlepaloma you make statements and treat them as fact. They sound plausible, but where's the proof. Art came first? Prove it.
   
   Do you believe we are spirit? If not, then you really don't understand spirituality which is the basis of all religion.
   
   You also don't seem to understand ego. Ego perverts every activity, including the arts, science and religion.
   
   I would say that spirituality has the greatest influence on civilization, because without it, we wouldn't have civilization. Humanity would descend to the lowest common denominator -- selfishness (ego) and the action-reaction, dog-eat-dog mentality of the jungle -- wailing and gnashing -- victim and perpetrator.
   
   Spirituality allowed us to create, forgive and be inspired. It allowed us to be restrained from action-reaction.

      What proof of Christian history, we have a bible less than 2000 years old. Their ancient history was borrowed from OT Jews and many of their stories have been taken from the  Hindu’s . How many Christians today really believe everything written in their Bible is true?. Jesus was very spiritual and intelligent for his time.  The average man today is more intelligent than Mosses was. My better artwork is spiritual and the best works is scared.
      
      To break it down -Spiritual is a matter of the 99% unknown World and Universe until it’s manifest into the our ego groups or individual self on this planet. Religions who claims they are not a Cult Yet still just another Culture of a branch in the tree of life. Ancient Spirituality groups such as Religions have often been wrongly translated and insanely repeated over and over again. How do we learn or evolve from these unknowns or over done regrets I only regret what I don’t do in the future. The Art cross all paths of every way of thinking with a very strong curiously of the unknowns and every veteran professional artist I’ve know, seems to really love the world and nature.
