I just got a warning on the first page I ever wrote:

    http://albertnew.hubpages.com/hub/Five- … Unemployed

The warning lists a number of rules that may be violated but I am assuming that this is the primary one:

contain content regarding programs which compensate users for clicking ads or offers, performing searches, surfing websites, posting in forums, or reading emails

It was never my intention to violate any terms, I just wanted to teach those who are unemployed how to earn some money with their time. Am I not allowed to mention reward programs like Bing or SwagBucks here?

      Hi Albert,

It sounds like the problem is that you used an Affiliate Link. If you include links with reference codes, you will need to check the box that makes them nofollow while in edit mode in the HubTool.

Thank you so much for your help Christy! I've updated my hub and checked the nofollow box. I'll keep this rule in mind for my future hubs smile

I had two review hubs with this warning today when I came in.  The main thing is "threatening me" with moderation due to new policy changes is the wrong thing to do.

A simple click and they are unpublished and I shall find a new home for them.  I am very tired of hubs that are several years old suddenly contain violations after being featured and getting views the whole time they have been published.

2/3rds of hubs deleted and about 1/3 more to go.  May still be here by the end of 2015, lol.

I ponder how to do a review of several similar products without having links out to these particular items?  Amazing.  Not sure what HP wants anymore, and the continual tweaking is not worth the very meager earnings this site provides.  I used to do well here, lol, and the hubs that did well have slowly been unfeatured, or not in violation of new policy.

        Hi Dale,

It sounds like our recent word per product limit increase might be the problem. If that is the case, your old Hubs will be safe from moderation until they are edited (at which point you'll need to bring them into compliance. Hope that helps!

I link to three products in each of the two hubs, reviewing three products in each hub.  Both hubs are right at 700 words, give or take.  Even with the one eBay ad, that still should be covered at 100 words per product.

Anyway, too late, because when I unpublished them, I had to click "edit" so they would become auto moderated should I republish them.

None of these items adequately support that many more words per item in the review.

No worries, I will unpublish the URL on Webmaster Tools and slip 'em over to my blog.

Thanks for the quick response. smile

Hi Albert. I had to alter 10 poems yesterday. The reason was that we are now allows one advert per 100 words. Have you used more adverts than allowed? If so remove the extras. Hope this helps.

Not sure why you directed me to that Linda.  My reviews are simply that.  Come on coffee makers and security safes don't violate anything that I can think of, lol.

Well excuse me for following the proper procedure and posting related info to an existing thread.  Anyway.  I shall pop out of sight again for a few more months.  I see HP will always be HP.  Have a great one!
