   Factcheck.com cited the Hawaiian Department of Health which has confirmed the authenticity of the birth certificate in question.
   
   Barack Obama is one half African (evidenced by his father, Barack Hussein Obama Sr,  who was a natural born Kenyan).  He is truly African and American...and one of the few here in America who can actually make that claim.
   
   With an African father who is not mixed in any way, I fail to see how this makes him only 6% African.

   Hi! Being from Chicago with friend's and relatives in all parts of government, I can give you my insight.
   
   After law school (I hate Harvard) Mr. Obama chose to become a community advisor and practice some law. He had already chosen his ultimate goal. This man is extremely narcissistic and began following the writings of Saul Alinsky.
   
   He lived in Hyde Park, a very integrated section of Chicago. He became involved with member's of "The Weather Underground," where he was further taught their way of doing things.
   
   Enter Emil Jones, the head of the Illinois State Senate. He was Obama's mentor and taught him Chicago style politics.  Obama runs and wins a seat in the Illinois Senate. He was actually losing, but the incumbant got caught up in a scandal.
   
   Obama runs for Congress and loses by a margin of 2-1 to incumbant Bobby Rush (former Black Panther). Obama returns to Illinois Senate.
   
   Obama gets re-elected to the Illinois Senate. His voting record is nothing to brag about and he barely writes a bill. Approximately  127 times he votes present.
   
   Obama runs for the Illinois Senate with heavy backing from Senator Dick Durban and the head of the Illinois Senate. The race was close with his Republican advisary, when Obama's opponent got wrapped up in a sex scandal. The Republican's (for some reason)  brought in Alan Keys from Maryland (also African-American) to run against Obama. Most Republlican's did not vote in that race. Talk about Obama's opponent's having luck.
   
   Obama becomes a US Senator. When Senator Kylwas asked how much he knew about Obama, he replied; He came to the Senate and didn't  seem to care about making friend's. He barely wrote any legislation but he was running for President the day he arrived.
   
   Obama runs for President. David Axelrod runs his campaign and pulls the wool over the eyes of most American's. People had no idea of what he stood for but voted for him.

   What trips me out about all this is the profound ignorances of American citizens. The fact is, is that under the Articles of Confederation, John Hansen was in fact the very first so-called "black" president. Barack Obama has never-ever said that he was the first black president - and he won't.

   According to historical data, John Hanson was, in fact , President of the U.S..  However, his reign was under the Articles of Confederation, which pre-dates the US Constitution and the Executive Office as we know it today.  He was also the second president to serve under the Articles, and the first to serve a full one year term.  However, he was the third president to preside over the Continental Congress of the U.S..  Unfortunately this was never an executive post with the powers and responsibilities of the office now.  Therefore, although he was president of America he was never president of the United States of America as defined by the US Constitution.   
   
   Keep in mind also that the only reference to John Hanson being black was a note in Dick Gregory's writings suggesting that he was black.  This suggestion was made from a document indicating that Hanson's grandfather was an indentured servant.   This is where the confusion begins as there is a stark a difference between indentured servitude and chattel slavery.  indentured servants consisted of both black and white people who worked for a number of years to earn their freedom.  On the other hand chattel slaves were always black, and had no option of freedom outside of escape.  Therefore, if John Hanson was in fact a decendent of an indentured slave then he could be either black or white.  The document that Dick Gregory refered to also states that Hanson may be confused with another John Hanson, a Liberian Senator during the 1850’s.  This would coincide with Dick Gregory's 'John Hanson' as President.
   
   Historical portraits of John Hanson dispicts him as a white male. Therefore, we have little proof other than Dick Gregory's interpretation of history that John Hanson was in fact, a black man.
   
   There is no dispute about President Obama's herritage and the US consititution therefore with this in mind Barack Obama is in fact, the first African American President of the United States.

   John Hansen was the so-called “black” president and Barak Obama is called the first black president although he is half black. But the irony is that he never himself uttered that he is a black President.
