Are you one of those that believe...
...that a man should not hit a women, but a woman can hit a man?
I believe that neither one should hit the other.Feeling's is not limited to the female gender concerning abuse.I know a lot of men that is abuse by
women.I believe "What goes around...comes around"
I believe in the "Righteousness" of God which apply to both the male
and female gender. Not a one sided view.
Of course neither man nor women should hit eachother. Treat others as you want to be treated. And you are right, though not often reported, many men do suffer from mental and physical abuse from women. Either way it is wrong.
I congratulate you on your understanding of this matter.
It;s time to dot all the ...i's...and cross all the... t's.
Hmm right or wrong, even were I to feel adversely or find some way of being hit by a woman I would never be silly enough to get into a relationship and stay in one where I felt my personal space being violated without my consent.
I believe that we are human and therefore provoked to anger and even violence. We are also provoked to show love or kindness. So the question isn't who should be able to hit who, but whether we can be forgiving and humble towards one another. A real man wouldn't run to the police if he's being beaten by a wife but instead he would have, from the start, shown dominion over the woman in that respect.
There are those cases where abuse is being dealt to those who simply cannot help themselves. In that case the abuser should know that what harshness they deal to others does indeed come back tenfold.
But alas, the world is cruel and at times can be unforgiving. The weak will suffer unknowingly to others, but God sees their pain, and whether they know whether or not to look to him for peace, vegence is His.
I completely agree with you! Abuse is abuse, the gender of the abuser should not be an issue. Personally I think the assumption that women cannot be abusive to men is in itself sexist. I know some pretty tough girls!
No, I think people should try not to hit each other. Sex is not any factor in that truth. Violence begets violence. My final answer. BB16

My parents used to hit me as a child, but did that mean they were bad parents? I got smacked across the face and all over my body.

Believers aren't suppose to judge others ,so why judge an athiest?it seems one hubber is going full out to make athiests look foolish on here by judging what an athiest thinks without actually thinking before they question. is judging us ok because we don't believe?

Is it through our beliefs that things manifest into being?Does God exist because we have such faith in him and that faith gives him life? Our belief system not only effects our reality and how we interpret things, but I feel that faith can create a living intity. Looking to the Greek...

Being a Christian, means being a follower of Jesus Christ. Not so? Does this means a Christian has to be a martyr, willing to DIE emotionally or physically in order for others to live, or to have a better life?In a marriage, should/may/must a Christian wife allows her husband to abuse her (and her...

In certain cultures, men assume control over wives. What is history of pattern - is it successful?
