I was not the typical little girl. I dreamt of growing up to be a sodlier then a cop. Although I will not be able to be fulfilled, I am currently going to school to become a cop. BUT hey, if I wanted to be a princess, I still could! ha!

I wanted to become a sportsman. But due to some childhood illness could not fulfill my dream. I completed my hotel management and working in a hotel. I am pretty happy with my profession too.

I wanted to be a back up singer in a jazz/blues band.  I loved watching them dance and sing with the music.

I wanted to be a professional cricketer and play for England, now I am an artist, which I also love, so I guess I am lucky in that respect.

I wanted to be an astronaut and be the first girl to walk on the moon and explore the galaxy. Unfortunately my maths and physics skills sucked so badly that I had to abandon that dream. But one day maybe I may get a chance to just see the kennedy space center!

an adult.... NOT. I want to be someone who supports himself by doing something pleasant that could seem more like a hobby than a job.

Nowadays, it’s not easy to make a decision for what one will become when he or she grows up because of luck of jobs after graduation, high tuitions, and inflation of higher degree. However, that never discourages to pursue the profession of my dream. So, I wanted to be a Radiologist.

I wanted to be a scientist, to find the cure for cancer. Still working on it... Having not quite grown up yet, I would also like to be someone who makes a positive difference in the lives of as many children as possible.

I wanted to be a lawyer for the federal government enlisted in the Army. I dreamt of being this pretty much since I can remember. I never changed my mind but remained constant in my conviction that this is what I wanted to become. Well, I married at 16, had my first son at 18 (right after graduation) and my second at 23. Needless to say, I did not become what I thought was my calling, but I believe my calling is higher than that which I first sought to achieve. I am blessed

My earliest memories of my father was that he was sick...a lot. Mama said it was because he had poorly developed lungs and would get pnemonia easily.  He would not go to bed unless he just couldn't walk anymore.  So when I would find him there I knew he was very ill.  I decided then and there that I wanted to be a Dr.  I wanted to be a part of helping my father and others. I did enter the medical field, but not as a Dr. but as a Nuclear Medicine/Radiation Technician.  My father passed away when I was 13, but I never lost the desire to help others in anyway I could.

I know that when I was little I wanted to be a scientist, solely for the reason that scientists get to mix things together of course. Whenever mom and dad cleaned out our fridge, I would mix everything together in the kitchen sink. Let me tell you, I made some pretty interesting smells... and probably found the cure for cancer or something, just never had the chance to write down the recipe. smile
