Which do you prefer digital books or the good old fashioned paperback and hard bounds?
I have lots of ebooks on my computer but I still prefer flipping pages and the smell of old books. Which do you prefer digital books or the old fashion books?
There is nothing like snuggling up in bed with a real book, drink & snack -- no adverts & just enjoying the story !
E books are handy for learning but cannot take the place of a real book !
Definitely prefer the real thing. I love books and would choose them any day
I don't think that anything could ever replace a book. I've never had a digital reader, and doubt that I ever will.
I am in absolute agreement with free; but regrettably, when enough libraries are cut back on their revenue, except for possibly bestsellers, we may see the demise of hard bounds. I fervently hope this doesn't occur though.
Paperbacks are definitely my favorite! Can't read off of a computer screen. Just not the same.
I prefer the "good old fashioned paperback and hard bounds" myself. I have tried to read books on a computer and even on the kindle and google book apps on phone. There's just something different about it that makes it harder to read for me.
Nothing beats the classic, I vote for paper back and hard bounds. I love it when you flip the pages, it brings more excitement, compare to digital books. ^ ^
I definitely prefer paperbacks.I have mentioned the reasons in my article : http://hubpages.com/hub/brainstormers.Infact this was the first one I had written on hub pages.Do read it and let me know if you would agree.
Nothing like the solid feel of a real, old-fashioned hardback. I can pull it to my chest, close my eyes and breathe it in.
As convenient as digital books are, I have to admit that I still prefer hard-cover books...
I love both, but I love my kindle more. When I travel its easier to carry more than 10 books and I can buy more books in the middle of the night. It took a bit to get used, but I'm over it now. Same way I went kicking and screaming into digital photography.
real books i hate digital things i mean you see all these teenagers with selfones and things and probably if you ask them wats a book 3 out of 10 will say wats a book?
trust me im ateenager to but some kids really got to read real books

Do people still buy books any more? With many bookstores going out of business, do you still buy books anymore? If so, do you buy the traditional books, audio-books, or eBooks?

Ebooks are changing the publishing industry. They're also changing the way in which people access books. For the first time, ebooks are apparently outselling paperbacks; and as the price of ereaders continues to drop, it seems likely that this trend will continue. Will trade paperbacks...

Do you prefer to receive a letter or an email?Personally, I love getting a hand written letter or postcard from friends. What are your opinions? In the days of facebook, skype and emails, snail mail is growing to be a distant memory. I wonder if there are any people out there who, like me, try to...
